Collectors Edition!

I have GTA V but I want to buy the collectors edition. If I buy the CE what happens when I use my current non-CE character. Would i simply use the new CE disc and go to ammo-nation to but hammer etc?

Just had my copy delivered last night..

 

OK - what happens is this:

 

Bit like the blimp add-ons, you get a code which you enter at the Playstation/X-box store online, you download the content and then it's added to the game.

 

So in online, this means free weapons (including the hammer) at Ammunation and the Hotknife, Kharmelion and Carbon RS are available to order for free from Legendary Motorsports... Weapon upgrades are free it seems, vehicle ones are not alas.


Discs are no different and if you want to use the new characters for Online, you'll either have to wait for an update or create a new character in your 2nd slot or other slot if they ever become available...
