I've given up on snapmatic.

For any of you forum members that know me, you probably already know that my snapmatic service has been disabled on my main "Sugar Free Nos" account for some time.

 

Well, after 4 months, 10 patches, and no updates on the problem since Oct 22, 2013, I have finally given up on Rockstar and any hope of them fixing snapmatic.

 

 

 

So, last night, I started up one of my other XBL profiles "Sugar Free Amp", on GTA:O, made a social club account, and sure enough, snapmatic worked perfectly.

 

Why isn't it fixed yet? Why will it work for my second account but not my first (I know technically "why", but it's more of a "why" kind of why)?

 

 

 

What are your thoughts on the issue that is affecting a good portion of the community, and, more importantly, how important of a feature do you feel snapmatic is, even with it's flaws?

 

 

 

 

I feel that it is a very important feature in the game, especially for someone who wishes to share their pics with others.

 

Here are just some of the pics I took in my 3 hours of gametime last night:

 

 

 

 

First I got on and made my first character:

 

Here is my very first picture in GTA: Online.

 

 

 

Then, after the tutorial was finished and I had a couple grand, I went to the Xbox duping thread and asked the wonderful Biohazard Abyss for my first car. It was a custom Vapid Stainer, Graphite with Rolled Steel pearl (same color as the FIB Buffalo).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then, after I took some pics of my car, me and JayWeazel did some Rooftop Rumble until I had a good amount of money and I was level 25. After one of the missions was over, a couple of random things happened.

 

A Cavalcade got impaled on Madrazo's fence momentarily before glitching on top of it.

 

 

 

 

 

Then, a Carbonizzare had a pretty messed up plate.

 

 

Around this time, I had reached level 25 and had decided that I was going to go ahead and buy all of the VDay clothing items, since they were only going to be available for a limited time.

 

 

On my way to a clothes shop, I saw this guy out getting ready to invite a midget chef over to BBQ.

 

 

 

After buying all the clothing on my main character, I created a new one for my second slot.

 

 

 

And now, I'm eagerly awaiting the next play session, and I'm excited to think about all the new things I can take pics of.

 

 

Please note, this isn't just so I can "share my story" or whatever, this is purely meant to show how many possibilities and fun can be had in just one 3 hour session with snapmatic. This, this is why I think it is such an important portion of the game. I love using it, and I only wish I had access to the ability to take pics in game, whenever I want on my main gamertag.

 

Needless to say, I may now be playing on my second account a lot more than my main...

Well with the vast amount of detail put into this world and such potential for random unscripted madness to occur , id call it a huge handicap to be playing this game without the snapmatic feature for so long...

Biohazard makes the best cars in the business, lol at "No Sugar" thats a winner!

Since you are a snapmatic n00b , heres a tip if you didnt already know..

you can tag your pics with text in GTA style fonts.

I have alot of fun with it anyway, just access your gallery in singleplayer, press A on the pic, and X to add meme text, the rest you will figure out easy enough!

Yes, I knew this actually. I fooled around with it on some old, old pics from pre-online. It's funny that I can't take pics, but I can edit old ones.

I use this car to get near players while off-radar. Works everyime, they go like WHAT THE f*ck on the mic after I blast em with my AP pistol or stickies. Lmao
