So did you even read the first bullet point? Pretty much tells you to stay on topic or your comment will be removed or you may be subject to a ban. Right there. First point. Hard to miss.

We all have access to an entire legal document we all had to sign prior to playing that explicitly states you did not purchase online content however have a license to use it

Guess what, I paid my drivers license but being able to use it is a privilege that can be taken away or amended at anytime

Just as I am not entitled to drive we are not entitled to gtao

GET OVER IT

better yet, dont buy the next game bc were not gonna be entitled to that one either

DMV can take away your license (it belongs to them)but they can't take away your right to travel the highways and byways of the U.S.

They will try and say otherwise but the truth is DMV is a private entity and cannot infringe on your constitutional rights.

Travel the highways and byways? Sure. In a motorised vehicle? Not in the constitution. Moronic analogy is moronic.

I seriously doubt you have even read the constitution, I suggest you do. When you are done you might want to read this. The only thing moronic is you.

Oh, so now you can drive without a driver`s licence in 'murica? More specifically: The driver`s license is the proof that you can drive, or physical proof of your right to drive.

In the absence of your right to drive - never attended a driver`s school and never been to a driver`s test, can you drive on any road outside your property? Because in my country you can`t and I seriously doubt ANY would allow an untrained person endanger human lives.

You can't in California, I can tell you that much.

The only exception is driving with a permit if you have a passenger that has a valid license.

Not arbitrarily. Not in my country, anyway. NOBODY can take away my physical driver`s licence or my right to drive without showing good cause. One is theft and is easily fixed by declaring it stolen, then apply for a new one, which will be given automatically - I can still drive, based on a temporary driver`s licence. The other is my legal right to drive, after having met all the necessary tests. It is my right, not my privilege. Any policeman pulling me over has to prove that I am committing a violation that is punishable with a driver`s licence withdrawal, based on the current driving laws. It would be abuse of power in that case... it will be the end of his career.

In my country I OWN both things: the physical proof of my right to drive AND my actual right to drive. I can drive while holding a temporary driver`s licence, which is given as a result of my right to drive.

Things are different in a game, because you forfeit your rights.

Can I ask what country you are referring to? In my country, if a cop says so, you have no rights.

California is no different. Like I said, they try to tell you how it is because the system would be destroyed if they just rolled over.

There has been several legal rulings that prove you don't need a license but it is a very technical process that most are unwilling and unable to endure including some judges.

I personally have beaten two driving without a license charges in the sate of Ca.

Romania. I don`t think a cop overrules the driving laws.

If a cop would suddenly decide I have no rights, he will have to bring a witness, I will bring a witness, then he will have to write a nice declaration as to what rights I don`t have, based on what Law number from the Highway Code. Then he will have to answer to a judge, obviously. Not even a cop is THAT stupid.

Technically, I am bound by law to comply to anything law enforcers ask me to. But said law enforcers will have to answer in a court of law to a simple question: What law did I break? Because, if I get pulled over for 1 kph over the speed limit and they take away my driver`s licence, having no law article in the Highway Code that says so, they WILL lose. They are NOT that stupid to try :)

Can you drive anywhere in USA without having been to a driving school, or without passing your driver`s test?

There must have been substantial circumstances to those cases, or something that was not done under code. Regardless you can still be cited and ticketed for driving without a license, it's a very simple process to obtain one and costs almost nothing.

What their problem was is proving the court has jurisdiction over the case. Also, being cited and being convicted are two entirely different things. You can disagree all you want, they prefer the public doesn't exercise their rights anyway.

It just doesn't seem worth the effort or argument to fight the citation is all, like I said obtaining your license is extremely easy and should be something you'd want to do to actually familiarize yourself with the rules of the road and with driving in general. Granted you may be able to do both of these without having a license is it really too much to ask to take a multiple choice test and drive with a tester one time? Seems a bit silly.

Could you post any proof to back up your claim that you can legally drive without a license? Curious to see.

I posted a link earlier in a post that you quoted. You could do a search for others and I agree it is much easier to just have a license but it is important for those that have the ability to challenge the system to do so in the interest of those that can't.

Driving without a license in NYC is an automatic night in central booking, they don't give out tickets for that here.

I THINK I know what he means, but I want to be sure. I THINK he is saying that you have the right to drive anyway and the driver`s licence is just the physical proof of it.

Say I am daydreaming and get pulled over without my papers. I can tell the policeman to find me in the database, or I`ll end up with a ticket - and not an expensive one either. If he will apply the law by the book, he will take me to the closest police station to ID me.

I REALLY REALLY don`t think there is any civilized country that will let anyone drive without having passed the driver`s test. Here it is a penal offence that is punishable between 1 and 5 years in prison.

That link means sh*t. I am asking a very specific question: Can you drive based on your constitutional rights without actually having been to a driving school or having passed your driver`s licence test? Can you drive on public roads without any training and "right" legally???

No, you didn`t and you are starting to be awfully suspicious avoiding a direct answer.

So, can you or can`t you LEGALLY drive a car on public roads without having passed your driver`s licence test?

The answer is yes you pinhead, now go away.

So, if I move to USA and buy me a semi, I can legally drive loaded? Assuming I get citizenship?

You sure can and you will be arrested and most likely convicted anyway.

That`s what will happen to you if you drive without a valid driver`s licence, physical or not.
