Encountered a new kind of hacker last night

Was cruising around in free roam, doin drive bys on fellow players. Killed one guy like 3 times at various places on the map, and suddenly barriers started popping up in the middle of the street. The same barriers u can place using the content creator. I'd be driving along and a wrecked bus would appear in middle of street. Slam into one, go around and another one would appear.

sadly not... u can spawn content creator stuff in free roam...

I saw a thread like this yesterday so it's starting to spread rapidly, these guys are probably gonna make R* disable content creator if the problem continues to persist

Haven't been tuning on here in awhile but came across one for the first time the other day. The guy had god mode and looked like firing what can only be described as airstrikes from his car. Absolutely annihilated everything in his path.

I didn't switch sessions. I went and got my buzzard and continued my attack from the air till the 2 cheaters left.

I know this is annoying but how is it hacking or modding?

 

They aren't using any software or outside systems. They are simply manipulating the content creator to open in a public session, the same way Rockstar created the map we play in.

 

There is a door rockstar can close to fix it, but its not modding or hacking. It's a glitch in the system.

This first started in GTA 4. People would spawn in map-wide tracks built of junk while flying their pink and neon green school bus firing rockets from their Uzi.

 

Now that this has started, it's only a matter of time until GTA Online is dead. The only people who will play are those with the strongest hax

So much fail from Rockstar. I feel like finding these bugs/glitches has become a substitute for actual content. Probably not a coincidence.

I used to build walls around the boss in cops and Crooks just to have fun.

There's a new glitch where you can use content creator items in freemode I don't think it's a hack I've seen tutorials on youtube on how to do it. Haven't encountered it yet myself though but I have a feeling we'll be seeing this a lot.
