If i'm not mistaken, that's by the airport. Or at least by one of the docks on the south side of the map. I could be wrong, it's been a while since I played the story. You visit this area sometime during the story missions.

Hell if I can remember. I haven't played the story since release. It might have been while I was scavenging the nuclear waste. Memories are hella foggy. That bit*h Mary Jane has a habit of fuc*ing with mah brain cells.

The shipwreck of a large container ship can be found underwater. The ship appears to be roughly cut in half, so that its bow is resting upright, and its large stern section is laying on its side a few yards away. Various shipping containers can also be found strewn about the wreckage. The shipwreck has a very large debris field. Its name is not known, but the phrase "Safety First" is written in large letters on the main deck. It is located off the east coast of N.O.O.S.E. and the Palomino Highlands.

Yeah but in real life, you can go a LOT deeper than in online.

 

That's why in single player you don't die after diving 2 inches like in online.

Yeah, in real life you can also travel to the moon. But it's a game, so we need to have some boundaries. And when online, they cut back on those boundaries even more, so that the experience on shore(where most people spend most of their time) is better than they would have been otherwise...
