mini map problem

For the past two days now my mini map will not show a border or roads...no background. Any way to fix this?

2 days? weird, it has happened twice to me, once i couldnt see anything, the map was all grey, i just quit and restarted my system but im sure you have done that within 2 days lol.

Try de and re installing the game if it persists. Pain in the bum I know but will fix it.

I had a minimap problem but not like this one,it changed the location of everything when I rotated the camera

Maybe you have set your mini-map to ''Blips only'' instead of on.

Im not at home currently, but I believe I did see it set on blips this morning...I will change that and let you know how it goes. Thanks for the replies I appreciate the help.
