El Dildo
I grew up near East St. Louis. only about 15 minutes away. consistently one of the most dangerous cities in the US. downtown STL on the Missouri side of the Mississippi River is a beautiful place to live. but just across the Big Muddy is basically another world. from upper-middle class to hardcore poverty and intense crime. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_St._Louis,_Illinois East St. Louis has the highest crime rate in the United States (according to the FBI's 100 most dangerous cities list). According to FBI's data of 2007, its murder rate hit 101.9 per population of 100,000, surpassing that of cities such as Gary, Indiana (48.3 per pop. 100,000); New Orleans, Louisiana (37.6); Baltimore, Maryland (43.3); and Detroit, Michigan (47.3); as well as that of its neighbor St. Louis (37.2). FBI data shows East St. Louis' rate of rape exceeded 250 per population of 100,000. Edited February 27, 2014 by El_Diablo Lock n' Stock

BrownBear
Adana,Turkey.worse then everywhere else.poor people come here for working and ruining whole city, from eastern turkey. Broken roads, rude people, war in ghettos, drugs, thieveries ... But despite all these things,Adana has a beautiful climate. The city is placed between mountains and sea.Turn back and you'll see mountains,go ahead for 30 mins you'll see the Mediterranean Sea.Champaigns, nature;the city is very well placed. I'm half Turkish, never been to Adana but my granddad used to be a gangster in Gaziantep. I also heard some gunfire when I went to my dads home in Izmir, but other than that it didn't seem too dangerous, although it seems to get worse in the east. I live in a little town is south west England, so no. Although, I have had a gun pointed at me here.

EyeMacHunt
Sydney Australia is fine. The only problems we have are the degenerates in the western suburbs trying to turn the area into the same kinda sh*thole they fled to get here. If they want a warzone they should go back. Adana is in the middle of the south. We can say that it's the capital of south turkey.People come here for working and living from east and mixes the population.Population is based on Turks but some other people like Kurds and Arabs come here, because there is not a good possibility of living in their cities.Slum quarter people commit crime everyday and it's really annoying,I want to move away I've been in Gaziantep many times, city structure(municipal) is better than Adana. Also Gaziantep is taking immigrants but they are coming from Syrie. Flūttershy
No, and I'm very happy that I live where I live. Its crazy to think that just over the hills about 20 minutes away is Oakland, which has some really sketchy areas. I think they have over 100 murders a year there, while here we have less than one. It's a great feeling being able to walk around anywhere with very little fear of being robbed or killed.

Vercetti42
Pretty safe where I live in. Best city in the country IMO. It's developing fast, good education and relatively low crime-rates. Edited February 28, 2014 by AceKingston
Panz
Philadelphia can be a pretty dangerous place. My wife has had a gun held to her head even. I've seen some stuff. Back when I was looking at colleges, I visited Temple. My mom and I finished our visit and got in our car that we parked on the side of the street. All of a sudden, a bunch of meth heads surrounded the car (well, first they limped there and then proceeded to stand inches from the front and sides of it), and then they started arguing in some sort of jibberish that I couldn't understand and they kept glaring in the window and looking at me, and we couldn't drive because they decided to have their stupid f*cking argument right across the top of the car. I was also in traffic there and saw a black guy in a lowrider with fuzzy dice in the mirror next to me at a stoplight, and he was wearing a sombrero and listening to gangster rap. He flashed his grillz at me... Philly is pretty dangerous, but pretty damn strange, too. Edited February 28, 2014 by Panz

gear999
My city looks like a mix of LC and North Yankton but has no crimes. Special Members
My hometown, Haugesund, has some of the largest drug problems in Norway. But to American standards, those problems are a joke. Not a lot of crime, except a few car arsons, robberies, parties gone violent, a few rapes and of course drug business. The last murder happened atleast 10-15 years ago. There was a pretty nation-covered robbery of a expensive clock store just last year, though. Also, some parts of the city, mostly in or surrounding downtown have some pretty old, bad-kept wooden buildings, which makes the area look pretty ghetto, without there actually being a lot of crime.
