Let me just preface this by saying, yes, I know many have two characters with full garages. What I want to know, if Rockstar added ability to own a secondary garage, what would it look like for your main/favorite character.

my 2nd garage would contain cars I purchase. I think some of the ones you find on the streets are the best cars (besides Franklins Buffalo) and aside from the racers, like the adder (at least 1 high end)

The only ones I almost never drive are:

-Sultan (since it keeps losing insurance in slot 1 - I've already lost it twice)

-Sandking XL (don't go off-roading a lot, and it's pretty large and bad for maneuverability in missions)

-Akuma (not a really huge bike guy - I mainly have that for racing and occasional stunt jumping)

 

The rest I use quite a lot interchangeably.

I remember when I had those 5 billion $$$ from the Bounty I thought of an idea that I will create a second character in my 2nd character slot and but the best apartment in town and fill it with 10 fully upgraded Z-Types. Wish I would have done that! Would have sold 9 of them and would have had some good ol millions.

Since R* is not going to allow us to rearrange our garages you should think about the order you want them in before buying / stealing them. Your example has the Mesa in the 2 spot blocking the Tailgater in the 1 slot. Switch those and move the Youga to the #6 slot.

 

Also you can't start a thread asking us to make decisions and then not make any yourself. Choose you must!

Actually, you've made me remember, Surano is one of the sports cars high on my wish list. Will have to decide between it and Feltzer though. Probably'll go towards the Surano, even though the Feltzer is beast for racing, it is too 'over designed' IMO and is way overused by others. Besides, I already got an Elegy for racing. A soft top convertible would certainly be nice to have in a collection.

Yeah, well, my philosophy is, if it's there, it's there to be used. Things that aren't used get dumped. That's exactly happened to my Adder recently, in favor of Cognoscenti and so far zero regrets. Edited February 26, 2014 by gorskiegangsta

Well, to be fair, most of those 'indecisive spots' are towards the end of the list. Those are the cars I'll be getting (buying) last, if at all. Phoenix or Ruiner internal debate only started recently with me as I realized the Ruiner has almost identical performance to the Phoenix and can be made to look like the DeLorean from Back To The Future and the Knight Rider KITT car (1982 Pontiac Trans-Am). That'll be great for some occasional role playing. Once I'll sort out the design in story mode, to see if it works, I'll know for sure whether I want the Ruiner.

The more I think of it, the more I gravitate towards Surano. I thought about getting a 9F for a soft top convertible, but the handling on that just isn't good, and it isn't very fun to drive unfortunately. I'll have to test the Surano again in Story mode to see what it's all about, though.

I'm thinking it could just be a separate property we can purchase - just the garage - as there are some standalone 10 car garages (without apartment) on the map. The mechanic/utility fee will be doubled after purchase. Then, we'll be able to use left/right button on d-pad to pick the garage when calling the mechanic, and there'll be (as usual) a 'home' icon/destination and a new 'garage' icon/destination on the map and HUD and, obviously, once you drive near your apartment, the apartment garage will be shown on map as well.

I would set up the space for a second garage kinda like i do my two Characters, One for cars setup for missions and free roam the other for racing classes ........My Main Character is level 122 and that garage is mostly a racing class garage with one 4 door for missions plus the Roosevelt (my vanity car LOL)

 

My second Character(Level 28 or so) keeps more four door cars for missions, and a couple i keep for Races like a Entity and Croquet

I would just brought over all the cars from my 2nd chars garage (Sidequest Storychar cars like Beverlys, Niguels, Mariachi, Abigals, Poppys etc)

 

Delete the 2nd and start over a complete new char from the scratch without using money from the bankaccount.
