I have a solid group of 15 or so players that consistently join my "cops and robbers" role plays. Unfortunately with different time zones and work/school schedules it's nearly impossible to get everyone on together. As a result I find us looking in all the wrong places for new players, which has been a major headache. So if you are into role plays, emergency services, or even mature car meets THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. My goal is to go back to 16 player lobbies on virtually a daily basis. But I need strong players that want to be there and can handle a role play. NOTE- I am NOT asking you to join a crew or apply to a website. If you enjoy these (and you will) and we enjoy your presence in the RP's then all you have to do is join our games. With the experienced players I currently have we have streamlined and improved criminal scenarios varying from BOLO's on stolen or criminal vehicles, raids on mob safe houses or drug farms, monitoring gang activity, breaking up illegal smuggling operations and many many more. There is no training or strict hierarchy in our system, all ideas are welcomed and encouraged and new members are not required to dress differently or drive lesser vehicles (although we do have restrictions of 1 helicopter max and prefer only a small number of unmarked units). The game is run in a free roam private lobby, and as such the use of weaponry and lethal force is extremely rare. Traffic laws are always followed, vehicles should NEVER be damaged, and the use of strategy is more useful than brute force. EVERY player is to turn off their radar and player indicators which means knowing the regions of the map and being able to distinguish the difference between traveling north, south, east, and west is highly valuable but not necessary as you will learn quickly. These measures plus making it illegal to pause the game mean that the only way to distinguish the difference between a human player and an NPC is their actions. If you can't be trusted to be able to follow these 3 steps you won't last. Yes, it is an honor system but after so many RP's we have become masters at detecting cheaters so don't worry; they WILL be weeded out. I know that's a lot to read but hopefully what information I have provided is enough to direct as many of the "right and mature players" to contact me ASAP. We have visions of full lobbies with new scenarios including gang vs gang vs law enforcement, the addition of Fire EMS and even tow truck drivers, or even large scale criminal operations involving multiple departments across San Andreas simultaneously (NOTE- I have tons of unique vehicle options enabling multiple departments) SO IF YOU WANT TO JOIN THE LAST RP GROUP YOU'LL EVER NEED, CONTACT ME ON XBOX LIVE GAMERTAG; Iceman 918 And remember- We are launching recruitment sessions tomorrow (2/27) at 7:00pm EST! They can go anywhere from 30min all the way to 2 hours (When things are going well we string multiple sessions together). If you know you'll have to leave somewhat early we can request a shorter session. This is more to find SOLID players to increase the availability of players wanting to play on a regular basis and expand our capabilities than it is to lay down laws and rules. If you're a solid player and have to leave mid game, it might suck for that session, but you will be invited back for the next time you're online. Early on I prefer to have somebody I know will do a good job on the civilian/criminal side since they basically tell the story for the entire RP but yes; beyond that we take turns which works out great. Also a yes to your question about the traffic laws, lights out, speeding, etc. Generally the criminals will determine a safe house(s) to discuss plans meanwhile the police will meet at a selected police station. Once police are all assembled and properly equipped a text is send to criminals that they are going into patrol which simply means that they are out looking for violations be it human or NPC. So if the criminals need to change clothes, gt haircuts, etc they will be going out into town where the police might be bugging them with tickets, warnings, and in extreme incidents; arrests. From there the scenarios develop based on information provided by the criminals. Sounds like a lot but once you play it's a simple concept. The first couple were a bit rough, as they usually are unfortunately but after "trimming the fat" a bit and settling everyone in to the goals and expectations, we ended really strong. I plan on running more tomorrow night at the same time (and I should actually make it on by 7 not 8 this time). This has taken off considerably quicker than I had expected but it's only giving me the luxury of holding players to a higher standard haha. If this is something you truly think you can handle maturely and will want to participate in consistently then I am still accepting new players. NOTE- Civilian/criminals are welcome to join as well (just know that we really can't have a 50/50 with law enforcement so please be prepared to do either). @Pschmeds- Thanks for the compliment buddy @PS3 players- I'm sorry I purposely posted Xbox on the bottom for reason. Not to disappoint, but if anyone if really interested in finding out how I run these in extreme detail, I would be willing to help you out. Sorry man, but like I said. If anyone wants to start a parallel RP group I can steer you in the right direction because (and anyone who has joined one of mine will back me up) but what I do is largely unique to any of RP groups; you just need a leader to enforce and weed out the crap players (and there are plenty of those).
