Crate after crate after crate?

So, I spawn into a public lobby & notice a crate has dropped in the map & no one's going for it. So I race over there & snatch it...& almost immediately, "Crate Drop Inbound" flashes on screen. Confused, I check the map & sure enough, another crate is inbound, however this time over by the El Burro oil fields. So I grab this crate & again, "Crate Drop Inbound" appears soon after, & it happened again & again & again. Unfortunately I had to leave not long after as I had real life matters to attend to, but I'm guessing this kept on going & going.

 

Anyone encountered this anomaly before? Is it a glitch or intentional?

Sounds similar to the armoured truck glitch, which is totally awesome!

It's happened to me before as well. I ended up nabbing about 7 or 8 crates before the others in the lobby caught on, and then fought people over a few more before I got disconnected from the lobby.

i dont get crate drops as often as id like, once every couple of real-time weeks maybe lol

 

armoured trucks i cant be bothered with, get them all the time

Sounds similar to the armoured truck glitch, which is totally awesome!

not for me, i rarely get the armored trucks and when they do appear, i attack them and only 1 out of 10 have cash, the rest are empty.

 

really waste of time.
