Wow, didn't notice that. Good eye. Sorry about the filter I had to use, the time of day I took it it was really hard to see so I tried to use a filter that would brighten the picture.

Pretty awesome observation! Glad you posted this. Those ads for GTAV are both amazing and intimidating, at the same time.

Imagine if you don't know what GTA is and you see those everyday. Funny, too, is that each of the characters looks very sedate, unlike their true character personas.

I knew Los Santos was designed to imitate Los Angeles as much as possible but I didn't know how deep and detailed they were going with it. I didn't know they even copied a lot of the iconic building's designs too, like the hotel that has the ads is clearly spoofed in Los Santos, look at the signs above both buildings, the exact same style of sign being used in Los Santos. This must be a well renown and famous hotel in LA. Oh and the building that is directly behind the hotel (in-game) is actually a little distantly behind the real life version of the hotel, see the same building in the far right background? Trippy!

There's a topic somewhere else 'mapping los Santos' that explores in ridiculous detail the similarities between la and ls. Last time I looked at it they were looking at real life equivalents of random disused buildings around Blaine county....
