It's still early 2014 and the game isn't 6 months old yet. The wait so far has not been unrealistic.

 

GTA IV was out for 6, 7 months and we got TLaD, it's pretty realistic.

 

Really, It's so realistic to cry they need to release DLC ASAP.. or it's realistic that "by the way it's going, never", even though IV by this point didn't have anything, and Yes any "real" DLC will probs take longer then 6-7months from release, but not "that" much longer.

 

Every other GTA before IV had NO dlc, so the 6-7 month wait for the first IV one (and that was xbox timed exclusive btw) is all any one is going off... and we are not even at that point yet.... aka calm the f*ck down!?

 

(not even so much you two... there are much worse others, but I can see it is pointless with them :p )

 

Oh I could care less lol, I just wanted to throw that in. DLC for this game is whatever, I mean it's cool I guess but whatever you can't bitch if it's free.

They were hinted as being already in the game, if we are to believe that trailer. I will believe it when I see it, not a second earlier.

Rockstar lied to (IMO... even objectively they at the very least misled) their fans. At this point I'm so disgusted and done with Rockstar that I don't even care if heists come out. f*ck those lying bastards. Won't be getting a dime from me ever again - any of their future products I buy I will be buying them USED.

I got a notification once about a tournament qualification playlist, it must have been a bug because there was nothing of the sort available anywhere in the game.

it was there, played through it, it was basically a compilation of the valentines day jobs. i wasn't able to access it from in-game, but there was a prompt on the loading screen that worked.

Yeah that happened to me too, the loading screen prompt; just once and I ended up leaving that playlist but on a separate occasion when I didn't get that prompt I was in my garage and got this notification. I'm sure it had something to do with the valentines event, but it didn't make it obvious..probably some off timed delay or something.

Why are all of you saying give them time the game is only a few months old when they haven't even released everything they promised at launch.

Technically they released 3 out of 4 of the things they listed on their website as updates for GTAO on launch. Heists are taking a bit too long though for being one of the 4, I'm happy they added another content add-on in the meantime though.

You're robbing a bank, and the payout will, just throwing it in, be 5 million. You join the heist, and the host can decide the cut.

 

You think (s)he will be honest with you? You think (s)he, when given that chance, will not stab you in the back when they can decide their own cut?

 

You will probably get a $100, while (s)he will get the 99% of the cut.

 

Sure, not everyone is like that, but you'll be surprised how many will backstab you when it's about money.

I`ll go on a limb here, but seeing the amount of trolling in lol missions like RR and Coveted, I`d bet everyone will try to backstab you, even your own crew.

 

The ONLY smart decision would be to do them only with close friends.

If you can't trust your crew...you're in the wrong crew. Being a leader of one myself, I have no plans of shortchanging anyone. That's a surefire way of making your first heist with them your last heist with them.

I never said anything about my crew. I know I can trust my crew.

 

Just saying, there are a bunch of people out there who might do this if we were able to pick our own cut.

My heart is racing because of how happy I am right now to see this. I don't care if it costs money coming for a DLC, I'll buy it. I just can't wait for this.

The only sensible way to go for the payouts is like they do in the story. The better/more experienced you are at a particular skill, the higher %age you get. That way it'll encourage players to take different rolls so they can max' out their stat's and it'll avoid any hosts short changing the other players.

Nope. But, by the looks of this forum, give a man any slight trolling chance and he`ll take it. Not saying I don`t trust anyone, but, if the name I see isn`t on my friends list, or has not done something extraordinary for me, I`ll keep me a loaded gun close :) . You`d be amazed for how long paranoiac folks live :)

Yes, the printer exists so that proves everything is true! Or more realistically, it means somebody saw there was a printer in the room and made the rest of the sh*t up. How does a printer prove anything? That would be the equivalent of me telling you that I dug my way to China, you seeing me with a shovel and saying "well, I seen him with a shovel so it must be true." Edited by EJTexasMade
