Is gta ready for cruise control technology?

The title probably has a bit more sarcasm to it, but i think its worth mentioning if anyone gives a flying burrito fart if whenever gta online or 6 will or should have cruise control feature in the cars?

cruise control is a system where you can automaticly let the car control what speed it should drive at constantly without needing to press the gas pedal, you are only responsible for steering the vehicle itself and use break.

when you driving you can automatically lock on at what speed you want your car to continue moving.

Cruise control was originally invented in 1958 to be used in cars. and now is commonly found in most of not all cars that you drive or see today. cruise control is also used in saint rows 3 for any car.

We never really seen this feature in gta games, considering this is GRAND THEFT AUTO. I think it would be fair if rockstar actually added this feature possibly part of a new customization feature or something, because my fingers do get numb quite often when i hold R2 for too long but with cruise control i can just freely relax and drive my car thru the desert only having to worry about not hitting a rock or a cactus.

I didn't know that cross country road trips with long stretches of highway or interstates was a common thing to do in GTA.

When exactly would this feature be useful?

Plenty of roads where it could come in handy (outside of the city - like the great ocean highway - at least I think it's called that).

Having said that... much more important things than cruise control that we need. For example, nos for all. Especially sugar free nos... :)

Why would that ever be necessary? You can just take a taxi if you're too lazy to drive...

its not that im lazy to drive its that i hate car controls in this game.

no traditional x to accelerate and a square to break? GTFO

atleast give me a cruise control, so i dont have to break my R2 buttom

Driving plays a big part in GTA games, it's one of the main reasons people buy GTA games, why take the pleasure away with cruise control ? Yes it would be an optional feature, but it's a little unnecessary in my opinion. Other things would take priority over it, but with next gen being more powerful, it could well come with GTA6.

are you saying that gta 5 has the best car physics in the world? NO

are you saying that gta 5 has the best car controls in the world? f*ck NO

are you saying that driving 220kmph on the desert road and doing stunts or driving to the top of the mountain cruise control would be useless, its only going to require one buttom which you can easily disable if you decide to press R2 or RT is going to be useless? GTA is not about just senseless driving, its about freeroam, exploration and driving top speeds while going on the ramp? what is more fun to do, looking at your controler and holding a buttom or looking at the screen and steering?

Ok... Guess I'm just to used to racing games... I don't have to look at the controller, i know what each button/trigger does off by heart. I just don't think GTA is, ready if you like for cruise control.

You do know that you can change the control set up right.

I cant think of any game is last ten years that used X and suqare to break and accelerate though. Do mean traditional as in like super nintendo style controls?

Gran Turismo 6 December 6th last year, couldn't help myself. I personally think it's easier to drive with triggers, then moving my thumb up and down for X and SQUARE. Personal preference though.

Right, so it sounds more like you want to be able to rebind the controls to your liking. If you could have the control setup your way would you still want cruise control?

Yeah I cant believe the GT series persist with that BS as default. I switched it up immediately. You have no throttle or braking control that way. Its essentially on of off.

Forza definately does not use the buttons as default. Im pretty sure most the others dont either. It may be switchable but not by default.

This is something I would really appreciate in singleplayer, while Im driving to the mission I often want a smoke while gaming and I can't smoke no handed. I don't think it would work as well in online but definitely would benefit gta 6 sp.

Since planes already have cruise control (It activates when you stop controlling it for a bit), it would probably get added in for cars..

Although SA has it as well, so by that logic we should've had it by now.

if you drive a car you don't push a button to accelerate, you give gas to the pedal ,the trigger R2,L2 is the same how much you push how much te car go faster , u dont like it ? go play crash bandicoot or saint trash
