Dodge made by Vapid? Makes sense.

That's my mistake, got Vapid and Bravado mixed up for some reason..

Figured I'd post a handful of deliciously 80s cars from my Vice concept:

DngQvFd.jpg

Marcel Rocket

Design: Alpine A310. Available in standard and GT variants.

Interior: See for yourself. May or may not feature rally specifications.

Performance: Runs off a powerful rear mounted V6 engine. Five speed manual transmission. Shares a suspension with the also race oriented Marcel Chamon.

RhPbWjk.jpg

Overflod Flash

Design: Volvo 480 Turbo. Looks like a wedge.

Interior: Businessman's boy racer chic, baby. Big ass dash/console. Steering wheel looks like an egg.

Performance: Turbocharged. Front wheel drive, decent power. Heavily modifiable. Reliable suspension.

xtwbYph.jpg

Pfister Kuiper

Design: Porsche 959.

Interior: Full of super-advanced knobs and buttons. Cockpit view.

Performance: Once the fastest street-legal sports car in the world, the Kuiper features all-wheel drive and is capable of speeds in excess of 300kph. Also features a ride-height adjustment.

Ut9dMo5.jpg

Renda A1

Design: Vector W2.

Interior: Space age. Reminiscent more of a cockpit than your average sports car. Reeks of cocaine and nasty, paid for sex.

Performance: Twin turbo modified DeClasse V8 capable of producing 600hp. Rocket like.

2h7KB86.jpg

Zirconium Stratus

Design: Subaru XT6.

Interior: Late-80s Tokyo futuristic. Neat analogue speedometer.

Performance: Turbocharged sports variant of the standard model. Heavier suspension, 2.7L engine.

hd_f21212988a6f58c44071991ab8def6fe.jpg

Dewbachee Trebuchet

'For the Jetset and extortionately wealthy people out there, the Trebuchet is for you. A new, limited edition Dewbachee for the company's 70th anniversary, this mid-engined supercar is quite possibly the fastest, and therefore best, British car ever made. And least economical. And therefore perfect for blasting through the desert between your limitless Arabian oil pumps.'

Design: Aston Martin DBC mostly, with hints on One-77 through out the body.

Performance: 800hp V8 connected to a 8 speed sequential box going to the rear wheels. Because it only weighs 1150kg, and it has a extremely aerodynamic bodyshell, the Trebuchet can reach speeds of over 250mph.

Dynamics: The light weight, rear weight bias and high power make this car hard to drive at speed, and a little bump in a corner can send it straight into the guardrails. The very stiff suspension also make cornering a fine art, and if you overstep the mark, the car will spin into oblivion.

Interior: Similar to the Zentorno, but less extreme fighter-jetty and more traditionally styled. Very lightweight and simple, just what you need to drive and not much else.

Price: $850,000

Whoa, lots activity here lately since the section was bumped up to the top.

Hunchback

std_1957_Volvo_PV444-2.jpg

Manufacturer: Vulcar

Design: Mostly the 1940s design of the Volvo PV444, however with the distinctive front fascia of the Volvo 122S. Has its side mirrors in the middle of the hood like old Japanese cars, however.

Performance: Not fast, just as you'd expect, but at least sturdy as expected of Vulcar.

Turkman

8138151072_485f2f8400.jpg

Manufacturer: Vapid

Design: Roll like an 80s Englishman in this van based on the Ford Transit Mk2. Can have quite a few mods much like the Youga, for ironic effect.

Performance: It's a van so you can't expect much, but still decent for one. Much lighter than American vans however.

Packster

AF13_r571_01.jpg

Manufacturer: Zirconium

Design: Based on the original 1974-1983 Plymouth Voyager. Fits 8 people.

Performance: Another vintage people carrier, but considerably faster and lighter than Journey. Still slower than most vans however.

(if you're wondering why it's Zirconium - I've envisioned my own theory some time ago that it's not based on any particular brand, and I imagine it being an American company focused on people-carriers).

Haa, love this. When we were kids there used to be an abandoned Transit exactly this model/colour dumped on the corner of our street until the council towed it. We used to climb in the back with waterguns and pretend we were bankrobbers.

Continuing the van/truck theme here's a couple more from my concept:

fgbiSJr.jpg

Declasse Venturer

Design: 1960s GMC C/K

Interior: Bare bones. Neil Young tape in the 8-track player. Empty cartridge on the floor mat.

Performance: Capable. Holds up well against even muscle cars when appropriately modded. And it can take a battering.

lamborghini_lm002.jpg

Pegassi Mercenary

Design: Lamborghini LM002

Interior: The "Rambo Lambo" - trample over third world economies in style with red leather seats and premium oak wood finishing.

Performance: Tank on wheels. Powered by a V12.

Enus ShagWAG

6060726.001.Mini3L.jpg

Rolls_Royce-Camargue_mp44_pic_49497.jpg

Powertrain: 6.75 litre pushrod V8 from the days of driving yore. Churns up 317 prime English horsies and 720nm of twist. Drives all four wheels through a four speed automatic and low range transfer box. Centre and rear diffs lockable.

Interior: Taken from the Rolls Royce Camargue.

Performance: Very wafty on its (unreliable) first-generation air suspension, slow down a lot for the corners and appreciate the fine craftmanship. Capable as a Huntley off-road, but know what you're doing: no software to help you out of trouble here.

Notes: The name derives from "shagwagon"; the 70's British term for any vehicle capable of housing a double bed. The WAG stands for "Wives And Girlfriends" (of footballers; the car's target market).

Price: $178000 for a good example.

Vulcar Fenton

2013-VW-CC-8.jpgmedium_201011200855521055393.jpg

volkswagen__phaeton_6_0_w12_4motion_long

Powertrain: Six litre twin-turbocharged W12 conjures 550bhp and 820nm of torque. AWD through three open diffs and a five speed automatic.

Interior: Taken from the fully-specced four seat Phaeton. Car is much longer than the Passat CC it's based on, giving loads of room for the rear electric seats.

Performance: This thing is heavy. This and the AWD assures traction andgives 0-60 in just 4.7 seconds. Not bad for a limo. 200mph top speed in eerie silence. Ride is firm but not uncomfortable. Corners quite well.

Notes: Quite possibly the most overengineered car ever. There's more research in its rectractable, heated headlight wipers than a damn jumbo jet. Exclusive too, thanks to badge snobbery.

Price: $147000. Would you pay that for a Vulcar? Few would...

Powertrain: 6.2 litre Dual-Cam-In-Block 24 valve V8 pushrod with direct injection and cylinder deactivation. Six speed manual with automatic clutch, RWD with mechanical LSD. 450BHP @ 5500rpm.

Interior: A swoopy, art deco inspired cabin sees rich hides and voluptuous veneers organically encompassing practically every surface, as well as highly polished aluminium brightwork.

Performance: In a word; Stately. The manual gearbox gives a sporty flair to the otherwise luxurious, air-sprung ride. Huge lightweight wheels don't upset the acceleration.

Notes: Interior and exterior design based upon Rover's unused concepts for its Rover 75. Quad round headlights translates easily to Willard's Buick-based design cues.

Price: $90000

Some cool names I've always been thinking of: Typhoon, Cyclone, Victory, Renegade, Cruiser, Mantis, Vandal, Widowmaker, Marauder, Rascal, Stanley, Defeater, Nazca, Dazna, Fury, Olmstead, Mark II, Whirlwind CoaXial, RedHead, Axel, Dragonblade, Spearhead/Arrowhead, X-Country, Frontier, Eclipse, Blackbird, and more soon.

P.S, you're only lucky I don't have a camera/drawing notebook or SketchUp. Then, I would've spammed half of this thread.
