When you have a bounty on your head

Recommended Posts

What do you do?

Hide in your apartment?

Get a submarine?

Fly away?

Today, someone put a 9k bounty on me, I was near the train track and the train just passed by. I jumped on it and 2 bounty hunters came after me, 1 of them was in a helicopter (frogger) and the other was driving a Bifta.

I killed the heli pilot while the bifta dude tried to sticky-bomb me. I killed him afterwards and they didn't stop pursuing the train. They teamed up and didn't give up. I killed them 5 or 6 times, and their last try was a Buzzard.

They almost killed me but I managed to take them down with the minigun..

Its time like this that you see all the great stuff you can do in this game.

Whiners should shut the f*ck up and try to do some stuff like this, it was like a movie scene.

Lead them on a lengthy chase around the map then Start > Online > Find New Session.

My favorite occasion was right after R* removed our counterfeit cash. An NPC placed a $1K bounty on me and I decided this would be a perfect opportunity to try the Vault Glitch for the first time at the at the bank in Vinewood. A group of boys drove by and one of them said "there's a guy with a bounty in the bank, let's stop for a second."

About an hour later (), every single player in the lobby was in the bank trying to find me. Some of them had knowledge of the glitch and used it. However, this was an every man for themselves scenario, so those who glitched into the vault wasted time killing each other. They also had trouble opening the vault door as they were all desperate to get to me, and some would end up pushing the door shut right when they got it to start opening.

Meanwhile, I rigged the inside of the vault with all 25 stick bombs and stood in the middle, waiting. Soon afterwards, they managed to cooperate and opened the door. Suddenly there was a loud explosion.

Pussy out like a bitch and go to invite only session or if I'm in the mood, I'll let them chase me around the city, always funny seeing these greedy players trying to get you even if there's only $1000 on your head

I like to do it for the thrill of it

I very rarely have a bounty on my head. But I chased someone with a 9k bounty a few days ago. Pure movie

In fact, I don't think I could have written it so well.

One player chased him in a car, I was in a frogger chopper. I tried running the bounty off the road by flying low while sweeping left to right. The bounty made it to then highway travelling north on the eastern side.

I was so low my landing skids threw sparks. The guy in the car was screaming excited. I made it under the first road sign that crosses the whole highway. Made it over the second. The third was my downfall. I couldn't make up my mind to go high or low.

I blew up in a huge fireball, the ground based chaser hit my wreckage and ruined his cars abilities. The bounty got away.

First I hide in the subways.

Then, we take a lengthy chase to the nothern part of SA.

Then, I would kill you, and then switch sessions.

If you want to deter hunters, you gotta go all out.

Most of the time when I have a bounty on me, I'll let one of my friends take it off me. If none of my friends are on, I drive around until someone starts chasing me. Sometimes I'll make them work for it, but most of the time, I'll just get out of my car and salute them while they kill me.

If its under 5000 I'll ride around carelessly. If its 5000 or more I'll chill on top of a building and pick em off as they approach me. Sometimes I'll even get a Luxor and fly as high as I can over the map flipping between Radio Los santos and Non stop pop LOL

I normally make my way to a highway and gun it to Paleto Bay. Other times I'll lead them on a wild chase through the city. It's thrilling being chased by a group of players. You have to take every turn perfectly and make sure you're not turning towards more players.

I survive every bounty I get. No one has the right to kill me in this game.

I first get my adder then do my loops about the city. Hopping on and off highways. Hiding under the underpasses making them think I'm on the street above then speeding off in a random direction. Go off radar and hitting a u turn, honking the musical horn as I pass to see who would catch on. Once I see that buzzard in the air, or if I get caught up, I immediately switch to Trevor. Good thing rockstar hasn't patched that yet, idiots.

All these 'skills' branch of off the billion dollar bounty holiday season we had 2 months ago. I survived each and every billion dollar bounty. 6 in total. Best fun I've ever had having a sea of white dots speeding towards you is a great thrill

I go into passive mode and watch the idiots try to kill me

Mmmmmmm?

Do you use a time machine for this or do you have psychic powers that let you know when a bounty is imminent?

I drive to the gardens around the FIB/Maze Bank buildings and have fun running and gunning over the different levels. Someone usually gets me, but the fight is always much fun.

Riding the train is definitely one of the more fun things to do. I can never find one when I get bountied anymore though, so annoying.

Otherwise, underground somewhere like the subway, or on top of a building. Somewhere you can still be gotten at, but requires a little more effort.

Timer stops whilst in the apartment, so I don't see the point of that.

I like to parachute on one of the ledges of Maze Bank Tower. It gives you a good vantage point of anyone coming. Everyone also assumes you're hiding up on the roof, and proceed to missile it to death with a buzzard. Not realizing I'm actually just underneath you ready to shoot a RPG up your ass. There is a downside with the sniper draw distance though in that it won't render players sometimes. Yet they can spot you from the ground for some reason.
