I've been having an issue storing high end cars with the captain vee method. I had read that slowing my internet down might help. I would have a higher success rate at the eclipse towers over the weazel plaza. I would stream videos on my laptop and on my mobile devices to get better results.

 

I remembered Devs saying a while back that people should try a lag switch method to see if it helps. I got ahold of xlag 2.0 and fired it up while trying captain vee method... Works first try. I simply run that little program off the laptop and set the lag to low or medium.

 

Your mileage might vary, but this has proven helpful to me. I do have the high speed internet service from Verizon.

Nick uses the limo, but i found it wasn't working for me so i use the tourbus

 

1: find the tourbus which is parked at the hollywood stars

 

2. Park it up against the garage door. get out walk into garage you should spawn inside

 

3. Get in the car you wish to sell, drive out you should spawn outside.

 

4. Ring mors claim the insurance drive the car and park outside lsc. ring mechanic get him to deliver the car you just claimed insurance for. When you see the icon drive car you in, into lsc sell.

 

Rince and repeat.

Goddamn, every time I bring a car over I spawn somewhere where I was like 3 sessions before or nowhere near. Have had this problem a while. Anyone else come acrossnthis ?

There's other money glitches too. The one I use is the one where you have to press triangle and R2 together while sitting in your car in the garage. Then if it works, you spawn with a dupe. Then you take a bike out the garage and get back in the duped car and sell it. It requires a fully modded car for the most profit, coquette is the best. It is more time consuming than the one that dev said, if you can't get the timing down and success rate seems to be 50/50.

that's theboneni use. I turn my camera to where I see my hands and just as I'm pulling away from the ignition I hit triangle R2. I get it 90%.

I read take the new car out of whomevers garage save game load it up in save end. It'll be some weird numbers.

Not sure if it was patched, I did it fine yesterday. With the 10k limit gone, I think you can also bring modded cars from SP to sell again. Someone in the xbox thread said the frank buffalo goes for 141k but this has the 45 min timer.

Hey guys idk if I'm just the last to find out again but my brother has a Snow Emperor in his garage. He does have a JB though. But what I'm thinking is that Patch 1.11 might've unpatched the thing that erases certain modded cars or police vehicles in the garage. Can anyone confirm or test this?
