I have successfully duped cars to people with a 6 car garage, but you can only dupe in spots 1-6. 7-10 won't dupe. Hope that helps.

I think its like this

2 car garage you dupe the adders from spot 1 and 2

6 car garage you dupe adders between spot 1 and 6

10 car garage you dupe adders anywhere

I duped an adder for a friend with 2 car garage earlier I dupped it from the 4th spot in my 10 car garage and it didn't work
