I think they eventually locked the thread, just cause she asked how to change the settings to get rid of the server and yes the white knight aka me helped cause i such a helpful guy

i still have the same problems, always timed out after a few minutes of playing. Hopefully things will change when i'm back home and not anymore at my parents house with an oldschool wifi

to get rid of it delete your game update utility, choose easy on network settings so it sets dns to automatic, redownload patch and reboot ps3, If that doesn't work delete the GTA install.

still dun work man, i sometimes get the wan server loading thing but not taken to the server though.

done gone did that man deleted everything patch, game itself, save file, and profile and still i will get the wan loading screen but def not in the server so all is good I guess.

i don't see the screen anymore and I haven't reset my router, it just went away with time, i think its cause i entered another DNS.

Start a second character. It doesn't take long to get to level 5 to buy an apartment. Your money is shared by both. You just won't have many mods unlocked.

over the course of the last month or two I noticed this game was a lot more fun when I actually had money, although even that is losing it's luster as the weeks pass. Probably won't hold my interest at all if I actually have to play to earn money lol.
