-Iperyt- 5 Posted August 26, 2015 My favorite person to ride with his name is Shawn. I love the ski mask.
Al Carter 161 Posted August 27, 2015 (edited) I really like all biker models from TLaD, can't choose one as favourite. But in GTAV I like Terry T. And Clay Simons re-modeled, and Al Carter, the one from my avatar. Edited August 27, 2015 by GuerrilleroESP
GTA-Biker 5,580 Posted August 30, 2015 (edited) I guess I'm the only one that likes my bikers to be buff, serious that look like they've been through a lot of sh*t, battle-hardened. You'd normally expect these kinda guys to be the only ones left after the Alderney chapter falls apart (they are your backup in Gang Wars by the way and in the final mission) I agree, outlaw bikers should look tough and dangerous, especially if the story shows them as violent criminals.I don´t like how in GTA 5 they made many members of The Lost MC look too clean (nice haircuts,no beards,no tattoos,no scars from brawls...): If you would put these guys in suits they would fit more in some middle class suburbs than a biker gang.In my opinion bikers in GTA 4/EFLC and in 3D games look much tougher than those in GTA 5. B Dawg 9,648 Posted August 30, 2015 (edited) 3D era bikers (Desert Cobras) were awesome, they looked like classic bikers, rode the classic Harley Davidson and even CJ could wear their jacket which was pretty cool. GTA V on the other hand seems so anti-biker and anti rock 'n roll/metal with all the bullsh*t. They gave us the middle finger, so we give it to them. Edit: Something I've never saw in IV or TLAD but saw in San Andreas was a biker convoy of 3-4 bikers riding around Los Santos together. Pretty nice detail. GTA-Biker 5,580 Posted August 30, 2015 (edited) Yeah, those bikers from GTA SA looked badass. I hope in the future we get another outlaw biker themed GTA,similar to TLAD,but with a longer story, and with some countryside on the map. GTA-Biker 5,580 Posted August 30, 2015 (edited) I saw that in SA too, there is also some civilian riding with them sometimes.I took a photo once: It also happens in GTA 5 sometimes, but only in scripted locations. Also one thing I've noticed about the Lost Bikers in TLAD is that some of them have these really weird, nerdy voice lines, something along the lines of ''f*cking piece of ogre piss'' Ogres? What the f*ck? Who the hell recorded the insult lines for the TLAD bikers? In an effort to make them less generic/stand out, they just made them ridiculous. slimeball supreme 9,103 Posted September 6, 2015 Because it's apparently funny or something. With the TLaD bikers, I still don't understand why you hate them so much. Sure, a few of them are pretty boys, but the majority look like bikers.
B Dawg 9,648 Posted September 6, 2015 (edited) I don't hate them, I hate 2 out of 6 of their non gang war models, and some of their voice lines, that's pretty much it. When it comes to VC/SA and IV bikers, I can't find a single flaw though My favorite one from IV is the Bouncer/Gun Shop owner, who on some occasions wears a shirt with The Lost MC sign. slimeball supreme 9,103 Posted September 6, 2015 Honkers really confuses me. Is it owned by the Mob or the Bikers?
Al Carter 161 Posted September 7, 2015 I like Bouncer model too, we always use it as a prospects model... GTA-wiki reference: Honkers was owned by Pegorino Boss, Jimmy Pegorino, and operated by Pegorino associate Phil Bell. Curious thing is; If you play the drugs-wars in TBOGT, you can spot The Lost MC and the Angels of death MC during drug deals there, and in Triangle club, not sure if they have an order in game or not, but I'm surely the two MC's have business in both. iiCriminnaaL 49 2,679 Posted August 13, 2018 (edited) I know, I've just bumped a 4 year old thread. But yeah, that actually sucks. They look way better in IV, better than any of the 6 models of TLaD's Lost members. They also made them wear some strange colors, not to mention the overused camo. Another thing I didn't like is downgrading from putting helmets on while riding bikers, to masks, whereas every member of the Angels of Death pick a cool helmet instead of masks. That reminds me... while The Lost had even better looks than the Angels of Death’s back in IV, the Angels of Death's models are better than The Lost’s in TLAD. Most uniforms are either black or grey, red and brown shirts, vests, many bearded and mustached members, better haircuts, no skinny and pretty face dudes, helmets, scars, etc. That being said, R* seemed to had more attention and effort focused onto the Angels of Death than The Lost. They look way more badass, not to mention that they got the better MC logo and even bikes, which makes me actually wish if it was the protagonist gang instead of The Lost. Hell, even the most badass looking Lost backup members from the gang wars were reused AoD models. Off topic: they look even worse in GTA V. Actually, they only need to have their patches removed to totally strip them from their biker looks... B Dawg 9,648 Posted August 13, 2018 Good point about the helmets vs masks. None of the Lost dudes in TLAD have helmets, only bandanas and hats. Whenever I play TLAD Multiplayer, I either play as an AOD looking Lost Buddy, or an Angel.
iiCriminnaaL 49 2,679 Posted March 25 (edited) Bump. (again 😛) I know that bikers were done in a rush in the standard IV game, since you could hear Angels speak some Lost MC lines (M_Y_GBik02_Lo_02), and see some Angels of Death leftovers on some Lost MC peds, namely: a specular texture (uppr_spec_000) of the Angels of Death's patch on the first torso vest model of M_Y_GBik_Lo_01, and a tattoo of the Angels of Death's patch on an arm texture of the same Lost ped. There's also a wanted Angels of Death biker that uses a Lost ped model. But that's not too hard to swallow, compared to some kind of... reversed styles? Angels of Death had more old fashioned clothing back in vanilla IV, and still so with The Lost and Damned. So it is with The Lost MC looking more modern fashioned (sometimes too modern in TLAD, but you get the point). But that's not my point here. Everybody who paid attention to the two motorcycle clubs back in IV would've realized that The Lost MC is the gang that was more redneck, both by the bikers' faces and accents. They also had more scars, and some of them seemed a little brutal. Even their "supporters" (M_Y_Bouncer_01) were similar. The Angels of Death MC on the other hand looked more urban, and talked in a more urban (still rough though) way, even though it's still not completely different from the redneck accent. And their head skins were almost empty from scars. Now that makes sense why the Angels of Death's clubhouse was in Algonquin, and not The Lost's. They were redneck, but still more urban than The Lost, and that's how Algonquin feels like compared to Alderney, which (Alderney) on the other hand has more industrial areas and bigger spaces of beach and natural areas (though I'm not pretending that Alderney has a tropical setting or something, but it feels less urban than Algonquin). So, what gets on my nerves here? I don't mind which one of the two I play as, but they should've been more consistent to how they were in standard IV. They felt kinda reversed in some ways, and a little changed in some other ways. Edited March 26 by iiCriminnaaL
iiCriminnaaL 49 2,679 Posted March 26 (edited) What I also liked about their original looks from GTA IV is that they didn't have to make them polar opposites where a club is half-filled with clean young boys, and another one is filled with scarred, meth addicted, tattooed older men. Meanwhile in IV: The Angels used more skull references, The Lost used more Confederate flag references. The Angels were more tattooed, The Lost were more scarred. The Angels were a little more urban in looks, attitude and speech, but old fashioned in clothing. The Lost were more redneck in looks, attitude and speech, but more modern fashioned in clothing. And both styles were just as cool as each other. Edited March 26 by iiCriminnaaL
