Anyone notice that we are still paying for the mechanic even though he is not around anymore?

Mechanic = repairs your car, not deliver it. Thus you pay him.

He still delivers your car in a way.

 

Like when you call him to change your car out if he wasn't there and all you had was the "Deliver PV" you'd have to go back to your apartment to change out your car.

Why else do you think the car is parked so far away? He doesn't want to get beaten up anymore so he delivers & goes away, and before you reach your car, he's gone already.

 

Also, why on earth would you complain about the $50? Think of all the money you stole he had left after he paid his bills? Poor man even had to take classes in self defence!

 

I wish I knew how to raise his paycheck. I got enough money to afford paying him more.

Yes I've also noticed that Rockstar are too lazy to fix him so have gone for the easy option of removing him and having your car appear out of nowhere. When people complained about the mechanic I don't think they meant remove him altogether.

I prefer running a small distance than wait for my mechanic to drive past me, around the city/country, stop off for a bear, crash into a lampost before delivering me my car.

Perhaps a bit of solidarity because I am a mechanic, can't remember ever saying "that scratch was already there right?" though

I think it has more to do with the duplicating glitch than fixing how he spawn.

I never once killed the man, one time I bumped in to him and he wanted to fight but I got in the car and smashed out instead.

 

I like the guy and I miss the guy. =(

 

Also, you pay him to deliver, repair your vehicle when you re-enter the garage because of your so many skills as a driver, as well as cleaning/keeping up your non-used vehicles.

 

You assholes took away the only friend I had in this World. I considered him my best friend.

I don't know what you guys did to make him rage like that, but mine was an honest underpaid slave who did his work perfectly.

 

The only mechanic i ever killed was another player's while we were having a battle.

$50 for repairing your car (and also buys the parts the car needs when something gets removed, like the bumper and such.), delivering your car, and also being able to Usain Bolt before you could even see the car tracker in your map...

 

Reasonable.
