Is anyone else having this problem?

Recommended Posts

The problem is coming from your side.

Check your Internet Connection if you are using wireless the connection can be spotty so if you can put a hardwire connection from your internet to your console and trust me you'll have no more "Timed Out" or "Connection Lost"

If your NAT is 3 you will always have issues.

Also if you're running a BitTorrent client with hundreds of active TCP connections on the same network as your PS3 is on, you're gonna have a bad time.

You sure about this, how am I supposed to hardwire it? I understand what you are saying. But I'd need to by a cord and get a modem or whatever. Thanks, but no thanks.

Aye, I have NAT Type 2

Nope, it's only started after 1.10

Can you log on to invite only session?

Yeah, I can.

Internet Service Provider. The company you pay for your internet access. This should not be a problem unless your answer is "McDonalds".

Hang on a sec: what do you mean you'd have to "get a modem". How are you connecting to the internet at the moment? You're not using mobile broadband are you? Because if you are, that's your problem right there.

No, I am using a router. But it's wireless hooked up to my WiFi. I couldn't think of the name. Ethernet Cable or whatever!

Are you sure it's NAT type 2? If yes, it should be good, it's weird.

It's NAT Type 2. I just checked it.

Okay, but how does your modem (you must have one) actually connect to the internet? Is it cable, ADSL or (god forbid) mobile broadband?

PS. I'm not being a smart-ass. I'm just trying to help you out.
