No one became a modder by being lazy. And no video tutorial is needed when there's an EXTREMELY DETAILED GUIDE a few posts before!

 

Reality: Alright, so first you'll need to download 6 programs, then you will need to already have both games (If you don't feel free to download them in 4 hours, both taking 5 gygabites), then you'll need to download 500 collision files. Now you'll need one of the 10 IMG tools there exists. You will also need a Stories Map Converter (Link in front page), and now all you have to do is somehow port the collisions. Oh, and don't forget to download some program found only on Russian sites and wipe the map of San Andreas completely.

Stop overreacting. There are always Total Conversions already made if you find doing this stuff manually difficult. And you obviously didn't google SA Map Cleaner. I'm not a genius or anything, but I can tell this isn't russian.

 

I did clean it.

Mobile version is PS2. Everyting else (*cough*textures*cough*), is in separate folders in .pvr format.

I did clean it. And that's the point. There are no Total Conversions to turn the San Andreas map into LCS or VCS. The closest thing other than this is Underground or United, but United is regular VC / 3 cities, whilst Underground has only some of the Stories features.

Okay, so basically, I just want them for DYOM. The VCS PC Edition has the map converted, but there is no way to mod it. The LCS PC Edition has an unfinished map, and no way to mod it also.

Well in that case, you need to speak with DYOM, since these kind of conversions require extremely heavy edits to script and SCM, which yeah, is going to render DYOM useless until it gets updated to work with that code. BUT they most likely won't do that until a mod is actually finished 100% with all missions.

What? There also is GTA United and GTA Underground. Both are not indented to be played with DYOM, both DYOM works fine with them. But I also just realized this modification only converts the maps, without pedestrians, so the world would seem rather empty.

Sure. If you go to the previous page towards the end, OP has made an extremely detailed guide on how to convert the map from ps2 files and install it to Vice City

Great. You follow the same guide. You clean the map for SA and you just need to have an empty .dff when making the collision. Other than that, it's the same.

I have generated a colmap, but all .col files inside have different names, like colmap1090. Is there a way to find out to which they belong? I am trying to make LCS map work with SA-MP (GTASA) DL version.

The way SA-MP works, you can't use .ide, .ipl or any .col files, you have to attach every single .col file into every single .dff file to make them work and have collision.

 

Is it possible to generate colmap with DFFs and TXDs included with them? Right now it only gives .col, .ide and .ipl files.

And to answer your question, in Stories games the models and the collisions are different universes, so there is no way to match them (unless youre willing to do some unnecessarily tedious work) Colmap is the closest you can get to the original IDE/IPL the game was meant to use, but models are a different story

why is the collisions Missing in VCS PS2 (SA) version?

there arn't any collisions even if i put all of them together in the .img

also why can't i make LCS PS2 (SA) Work Correctly, it just crashs on loading screen

I cleaned SA map with map cleaner.

 

Added all files from that to new img archives with IMG Factory, loaded trought GTA.dat it crashes game.
