This looks nice.

 

I hope one day we will get a RDR map port on PC, maybe on V when that comes.

 

Anyways, does this have interiors too?

 

Edit: What is the difference between the PSP map and the PS2 map? Doesn't the PS2 have more props, and better textures? I know LCS has different textures.

Yes

Totally different prelight. PS2 version of LCS have a lot of reworked models, PSP mostly like GTA3

Pretty much, most people only want the maps, our process of converting the map included fixing rockstars problems, but eh, majority won't care about that. So our projects will be dead soon. :p

Vehicles, peds, and missions. Your mod wasn't just the map. Wouldn't this put you guys further along?

 

Edit: So, I'm guessing the east island will be out for VCS PC soon?

Not exactly, if they are different then it might not be compatible with what we have already, which would be a backwards step after all the stuff we've fixed.

 

Most people want just the map for multiplayer mods, so ehhh, majority will ignore our mod.

But, does LCS and VCS maps have bugs with collisions or not?

 

Seems the game can't handle properly collisions with large amount of COLs. So if you don't wanna bugs - you need to divide ide and col to few IDEs and COLs

Is it me or are some textures super pixelated? Also I in the LCS PSP map there are some models with missing faces.

Let me guess - you use VC version? If yes - faces are not missing - this is problem with backface culling and I can't fix this because this is an issue of original models. Can you take a screenshot of pixelated textures?

 

I think this is incorrect filter flag, TXD workshop and MED show me correct non pixelated textures

Original LCS-bug. Present on all models except cars and weapons.

Use shadow flag in ide.

use IIItoVC.asi. Identical to the model of GTA3.

Pixelating is definitely a filter flag issue.

This is backfacing. If you load these models into 3ds -you can see flipped faces. Basicallly triangle strip converting to triangle list in order when every 2nd face flipped but in few models that order was broken and this resulting flipped faces.

 

In gta3 backface culling disabled by default. For SA I have added IDE flag to disable it too but I don't know is there same flag in VC

 

MED have disabled backface culling so you can view these flipped faces

Yup XEPOMAHT is right. IIItoVC is needed for VC. It fixes a lot of things but conflicts will CLEO sometimes.

Not so easy to put entire map into VC or 3.

I myself have it done only on SA

 

Ask sharpie_eastern, seems he succesfully put entire PSP map into VC

I know this bug, I thought there is needed some fancy algorithm to make the faces flipped properly while converting.
