Should each new GTAs have a New Car Custom Shop like LSC or should the

Recommended Posts

This topic is kind of hybrid,it a GTA 5 topic and at the same time about the Series' Popular Mod Shop,Pay n Spray.I loved Pay n Spray in IV cause we can repair, respray and also use it to evade cops but in V,The LSC does the same functions but we can customise our cars etc.So for future GTAs,should Pay n Spray make a return or should each game have their own mod shop depending on their Locations?

Btw Pay n Spray has been in the in the Series for over 15 years according to this: http://gta.wikia.com/Pay_'n'_Spray

Dude the way people glitched the sh*t out of LSC and are still doing so I forsee it going bankrupt and them removing it through an update sometime. In the future they probably gonna have to make us buy the parts and fit them ourselves.@_@

that Online you are talking about,i mean in Singleplayer.

Well if the next game is set in Detroit (for example) then they cant call it LSC.

I'm really not all that fussed to be honest what they call them.

Why not make Pay N Spray the mod shop?

Why not make Pay N Spray the mod shop?

Can't say I'd like that. Pay N Spray should be bought back for what it is: a spray and a plate change. I'd add the color change option from LS Customs but nothing more.

LS Customs will simply be named after whatever city is featured in the next game, or it might not even be named so at all. Infact I'd prefer it to be a small independant chop shop that we have to discover or buy, or even unlock through a friend involved in the business like Brucie in GTAIV. It made sense in GTAV with Franklin knowing Hao, but I don't know how they could legitimately pull that off if the next protagonist is completely new to the location.

If something like Los Santos Customs were to return in a future game, it would obviously require the return of vehicle customization, as well. I am honestly not that bothered by it, though. There are fifteen GTAs in total, including the add-ons, and only two of them truly have car customization. It just shows that while it's a very nice feature and can add something to the game, it certainly isn't a necessity and it's not more than this: just another feature.

Vehicular modding shops like LS Customs won't return in future so long as vehicle customization doesn't return. Pay 'n' Spray, on the other hand, will return in pretty much every game, unless it gets replaced by more fleshed out modding shops. It has been there since the very beginning of the GTA series.

I haven't played GTA V so I don't really know but I've always thought that customizing cars in GTA is really useless considering cars are basically disposable here. You just see a car you like, steal it, drive it around, crash it, make it explode and get another one. There's no point in getting any emotional bond to your customized unique car unless you only use it for free roaming because most of the missions will end up with your car ripped to pieces anyway.

True, but Pay n Spray has been part of the family since GTA (1997) almost 17 years ago.and that has some customisation function i.e.repair,respray and small other things even though it not like LSC.

Oh but I think Pay n Spray SHOULD be featured, yeah! Did they remove it from V? I think it should stay in the series, repainting your car and repairing it is like the oldest trick in the book for escaping the cops and it shouldn't be removed ever imo. Maybe they should let you choose the car color and some few customization options in Pay n Spray too but making the customization too deep and complex is kind of useless imo.
