Is the JB 700 worth it?

As a good car to drive and look at. Please don't complain here about the guns not working, I'm well aware of that. It's got a relatively hefty price tag, so is it worth all that or does it drive like crap.

Also, same question about the Hearse.

Beautiful to look at. Ok I guess for a taking a slow cruise (not off-road) in an invite-only session of freeroam. AWFUL for racing.

It's garage candy, nothing more.

I used to have one, but didn't think it was worth it. I had no problem with the non-working guns because the car is supposed to be a nod to Bond movies as mentioned above.

The performance was what made me sell my JB 700. The car felt too slow to drive. It was pretty bad in races. I could barely beat stock Monroes using a fully upgraded one, so I could only imagine what would happen in a room full of modded Monroes and Z-Types.

That being said, it is nice to have if you don't want your garage to be like everyone else's since the JB 700 isn't a very popular car. I'd say the car is best suited for leisure purposes only.

Step 1. jump into Single player

Step 2. test drive them

Step 3. there is no step 3

If that's the case, then no one should ever make car threads ever again, ever, never, ever. Forever.

That should be a thread rule.. lol, it's nothing factual. Each driver is different, so it's hard to tell what car is "good" or "bad."

Even if it was, I think it would be nice if I still heard some opinions by other people on the car.

wish you could just remove them

Why? The entire vehicle is a James Bond reference, they're part of the point.

It doesn't need non-functional guns sticking out of it to look like the DB5.

So?

It does, and it was supposed to.

I don't think it is worth it. It costs way too much IMO. I bought one, drove it around a few times, then never drove it again. I use almost all of the cars in my garage on a regular basis, so it was easy for me to sell it. If you just collect cars and only drive one, then it is worth collecting.

No, not really.

The original DB5 in Goldfinger and the subsequent models in Thunderball, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies, Casino Royale and Skyfall did not have machine guns mounted on the bonnet; they were actually hidden behind the parking lights close to the bumper.

In my opinion, that's what Rockstar should have done, because having the machine guns just placed there on the bonnet ruins the vehicle, especially considering that they can't be used outside of ONE mission in the entire game. With the decommissioned model, the guns should have been removed.

OT: It's a fun car to drive, but whether it is worth it or not depends on what you plan on using it for.

It's actually cheaper online than it is in SP.

I bought mine with the stimulus money, still have it though I don't drive it as much as I used to.

It makes a fun getaway vehicle for all of the various snatch-and-dash missions you have to do for Gerald and others.

Yeah but I'm sure a lot of people are like me - average amount of money in GTAO, over 6billion in sp.

Fair point, wasn't really implying anything with that comment, just pointing out that it is cheaper in GTAO.
