So I've Finally Made Enough Money

Recommended Posts

I mean it has a cool history, it's based off of Capone's armored Cadillac and after test driving it in campaign I can confirm that it's a fairly quick car. However I think you should get 45,000 more and buy an Entity XF because that car is fantastic.

Buyer's Regret is what it's called. It's same for when you were to go out and buy a big screen TV or a car or any "big ticket" purchase. You start second guessing whether the purchase is worth the investment you're putting into it.

Just think to yourself if you're going to be using the Roosevelt actively. If not, or if you were only interested in it because it's limited edition, then do as above and just save up more for an Entity.

WTFThisIsntWii

The Entity XF is better peformance wise but the Roosevelt is limited edition and at the end of the month you may not have a chance to buy it again whilst the Entity will still be available. But its your choice.

If u don't have entity. Get it. IMO best far in game for function. Gets across map, the shooting as backing up. On the other hand Roosevelt's is form. Pretty quick and can hold 6 people. Look is great.

I bought it, sold it. Was a decent car for sure but after a couple of races (if that's your thing) it just couldn't keep up with most of the other Sports Classics, especially on the longer tracks. Now I have a Granger - free and essentially the same car, looks aside.

If you think you can regain $750,000 again + however much you spend on mods for it.. go for it, especially because it's limited.

If not, and you believe you won't even use it much.. save up for something better in a future DLC or something much more interesting in your eyes.

Think. It's a faster Granger, but it holds 6 to Granger's 8.

Me, I chose the Roosevelt instead. I barely could get 2 people to go with me, and AFAIK the biggest mission holds up to only 6 players, so there.

The Roosevelt is one of only two cars that you can own with an 8 player capacity*. The other being a Granger. A fully modded Roosevelt will perform better than a fully modded Granger.

Its "Limited Edition", no one is buying a Roosevelt after February (unless Rockstar decided to re-release it for a weekend or something). So it'll be one of the few cars with a legitimate claim to being rare. If that floats your boat, of course.

It has also has, as far as I know anyway, a unique horn as it's standard.

If none of that, or the history and looks of the car appeal to you, then probably best not to buy it. Otherwise, BUY, BUY and BUY!

*Could have sworn it was mentioned as having eight and not six, if not I stand corrected!

Don't buy it...

Because every time someone purchases it...mine loses value haha

But seriously, you'll always make money in GTAO and the other cars will always be there...this won't unless R* act the bollox and make it so. When it's fully modded it sells for $500,000 so that's a nice down payment on another car should you decide you no longer want it...

Also...I bought it and it left me with just $620 and it wasn't even fully modded yet...few days later now and it's fully modded and I'm back up to $300k

The 6-person capacity is irrelevant really; if you're going anywhere, those on the outside are ridiculously vulnerable.

I bought it after using it in a race (Vinewood Lights I think it was) yesterday, against a Monroe and Z-Type. It corners better than both so I'd have won if I hadn't driven like an imbecile for the last few corners and crashed on every one of them. It's rare, I'll get about 50% of the money back if I do decide to sell in future so it's not totally wasted, and I've been earning like mad since the payouts were boosted with the 1.10 update.

Do 20 Coveteds a day on free aim for three days and lo and behold you'll have 1.08M - more than enough for an Entity.

A little graft goes a long way....

I'm figuring i might grind an extra 750K to get a Roosevelt for my 2nd n'all...

I bought it just because I pretty much have every other "expensive" car I want, and I thought it would look good as a collectors item.

My only complain is that I didn't put it on the other side of my garage when I bought it, so now I have it between my Banshee and Cheetah and I think it would have looked better next to a Hotknife.

The Roosevelt is one of only two cars that you can own with an 8 player capacity*. The other being a Granger. A fully modded Roosevelt will perform better than a fully modded Granger.

I wouldn't be so sure. According to Rockstar's own stats, for whatever they're worth the Granger wins on everything but acceleration - the one stat you can gain most in. It's actually a pretty decent car considering it's bulk - handy to hide behind in shootouts as well!

Buy it, if you regret buying it you can always earn the money back, if you dont buy it then regret not doing so, you're screwed.

can i ask why everyone is fixated with speed? just buy cars you think are good looking, especially from the back, and are fun to drive.

Too buy the Roosevelt but now i don't know if i want to buy it after as long as it took me to make that money i don't know if it would really be worth buying or if i should buy a difference car with it.

What do you think?

Save your cash.

TeammateHelper

Can someone test if the Roosevelt holds 6 or 8? Thanks.

As for stats, I don't know. Granger looks like it has the same stats as a real fast sedan. I think stats are based on class of vehicle.
