OpenWorld23 Posted February 16, 2014 Share Posted February 16, 2014 (edited) This is a list of the bugs I came across in the past year I owned GTA 5. It's a great game and defiantly makes up for GTA 4's limitations. GTA 5 needs allot of work despite it being a great game. Having a bunch of stuff isn't good enough if its filled with bugs and undesirable quarks. One of the most noticeable bugs is the vehicle storage problem that never gets fixed. There's only enough space for four cars plus safe house garages only having space for one to two vehicles (more of a quark than a bug). What they should have done is make it more like the vehicle storage system in Saints Row garages and Mafia 2 garages where you can have an unlimited storage of vehicles and never loose them. And having your car return to the garage instead of being impounded would fix allot of storage and vehicle loss problems. Another bug is the aircraft storage. I steel a fighter jet and save it at the hangar and select between another aircraft and it's gone after selecting a purchased aircraft (same is true for the helipad and docks) Another problem is the fact that aircraft in the hangars are off to the side when saved or bought making it impossible to store larger aircraft. And Trevor's hangar can only fit a fighter jet, stunt plane, the Cuban 800, crop duster dodo and that other prop airplane that resembles a Mooney Bravo (forgot the name of it) One bug that still gets to me and allot of other GTA 5 players is the vehicle impound problem. Only two spaces when there should have been more and the last car you steel and abandon gets sent there when you don't want it to. The only ways to prevent this is to leave two cars that you want in the impound or destroy the vehicle you jacked. What I wish they would do is make a register vehicle option at LS customs so what you want to keep gets sent to the impound if it isn't in your garage. Also your car gets a small scratch on the rear bumper every time you retrieve the car because of the angle the exit ramp was placed. Now this is a huge quark that is really getting to me and allot of other story moders out there is the fact that we rarely get what we want in story mode that online gets like customizable license plate numbers. All they give story mode is change license plate color (so stupid) So basically online gets everything cool and story mode hardly gets anything. A huge mistake by Rockstar games. (I don't play online so lets be clear about that) The only things we were able to get is a few cars from the beach bum DLC (big deal) and an extra car the Elegy RH8 & two weapons the SNS pistol and broken bottle (lame). We story moders want the new missions and more content than that. Another kind of a quark is the lack of places you can go to with the main characters friends & family. For example When you hang out with Amanda as Michael you can only go to a tennis court or bar but no movies or golf. Michael should have been able to take his wife to the movies or go golfing. I get that playing tennis when hanging with Amanda is showing an interest in her hobbies but they shouldn't force that on us. Tennis sucks away. Not that I suck at it in GTA 5, I just think it's stupid and gets repetitive. Speaking of repetitive the next quark they should do something about is how repetitive the radio songs and talk shows get. I wish they would make something that gives a radio update of new talk show segments and possibly new songs. I would love to hear more episodes of Chakra Attack or Beyond Insemination. Also I'm really sick of chattersphere playing the most (it seems chattersphere plays way to often to me) And they make Lazlow look pathetic and kind neurotic instead of funny like how he used to be. Rockstar used to be all about great talk shows for the radio part of the game now it seems like its just getting stupid and pathetic. There's only two talk shows I like that have a hard time getting old; Chakra Attack and Beyond Insemination. Everything else kinda sucks or gets old fast. And why did they change Fernando??? He would have been hilarious if he was like how he was in San Andrea 3D era. Don't get me wrong, I love what they added in GTA 5 and how they improved their HD engine & physics. It defiantly beats GTA 4 by a long shot. But now im in a love hate relationship with GTA 5. So as far as I can tell GTA 5 had potential to be something so much more but they decided to rush it instead of taking their time with it. Allot of bugs and problems could have been prevented if they cared and took more time (say one or two more years) If you noticed any bugs I haven't mention feel free to post them.
