Are plates broken?

I had a custom plate back ago that worked fine. Then one day the game stopped remembering it and now the private plate option always gives me some bullsh*t generated plate and not the plate that I've had. My cars that I put the private plate on when it worked still has my plate, but new ones don't. The plate wasnt offensive or anything worth a cause of removal. Anyone know how to get a custom plate back? It still shows on my LSC in iFruit but doesn't change anything if I try to order it.

You will have to reorder it on your app before you start a session not while in a session. It is a bad minor glitch. Happened to me

I did, didnt work. Then again I was online IG at the time I ordered it.

Yeah had it too. Go and load up ifruit and reorder a plate change via LSC. When you go back and collect it will be personalized again. I had it only a few days ago and that fixed it.

 

EDIT: Didnt see your reply before posting. I had no issues so unsure why you would.

The new plate is listed as a private plate, and trying to buy a new one says I already have my private plate. Its weird. The app says I have my old plate but the game has this random generated one.

Happened to me as well. I resorted to a hack that lets you change your plate as much as you want. Changed it to some random number went to LSCustoms after getting the pop up message which was really quick. Than after coming out with the new random number, I changed the text back to what I originally had and within seconds the popup said it was ready. Went in and had my Plates back.

 

Many have said they all they had to do was reorder the plates. Seeing as you are having issues, try ordering something else with the plates. Like non tinted windows.
