Someone found me that car and gave it to me online. I fully upgraded it and I saw the selling price and it doesn't change! It stays at $10000! Thought it sold for more.

Used to. Since 1.10 all cars stolen off the street and modded only pay out a max of 10k when selling them. Anything bought through the websites still pay half the value back. I think thats how it works anyway.

EDIT: like lots of w's said.

Yeah it is slightly annoying that these two statements are correct. I hate the fact we can slap loads of vehicle modifications down and still only get a measly ten grand for a decent car. BULLsh*t.

I suppose it stops those little fa**oty exploiters from further ruining the game for everybody else and delaying heists.

If someone gives you something you don't sell it right away you douche

I did not sell it "Douche". I still have the car and its fully modded. I was just curious to see for how much it will sell. So stop making accusations before you read the whole story.

Where is the part where you said you are not selling it?

The best to mod and sell was the Gauntlet anyway :) And that is very easy to find.

It does kinda suck that we still have no way to transfer money between players. Example: Player A is a hardcore grinder and can and is willing to bankroll the "regulars" of his crew. He is unable to give 100% legitimate money away. This whole cash cards affair is beginning to affect regular gameplay.

All cars stolen are locked at 10k maximum, whichs sucks because some of the ones I've stolen I've put in loads of money modding.

I needed the space for my Roosevelt and had to sell the only disposable car - my fully modded SandKing. Had armor and bullet proof tyres, too. 10k was a surprise, I tell you.

That`s how I learned what the selling cap patch notes were for.

PSA: Checking your car's resale value counts as selling it

The only reasonable explanation for this is cash cards.

Ya that could be the only reason. The fact that people were using cheated money to mod cars for other people as a way to pass cheated money along to other players could not possible have had any impact on this.

All that money is gone so why punish someone that puts a bunch of money into a car off the street and only allow then to sale for 10g's?

So if checking a Cars Resale value counts as selling it. Going to the Ferrari website and checking the car's price counts as buying it? Even if i am just checking the price out of Curiosity? wow I could be a trillionare if that logic would be true.

God forbid those little fa**oty exploiters try to have fun with the game. It couldn't possibly be Rockstar's fault for leaving the exploit there!

I very much doubt the cause is to do with the cash card pseudo- conspiracy theory bull crap.

I would be a multi-trillionaire if it was true. But hey, according to someone here, it IS true!
