I haven't had a chance to get on in a day or so do to work. But the last time I was on I drove to the golf course and the thing to start the game was gone? Anyone else have this problem?

I just play a mission with no cops and then punch all the peds on the tube! Too fun.

In other news, I ALMOST got a hole in one but the wind just screwed up my shot.

LOL, that's the best way to boost stealth too! I did that with a Gerald mission; takes forever though. :/

Still there. I didn't know it leveled strength, huh.

Yup! You can play only one hole, and it levels it up the same as a full 9-hole game. Lol

I got it to a 1-foot radius using a punch shot. Forgot which club.

Got no idea of which one it is. But keep hosting golf with starting hole 6 and ending hole 6. So just play that hole = profit.

I've never ever played a full game of golf in GTA O and I've had the game since launch :bored:

And I've never played darts!

You're both missing out imo.

 

I've played since 1.10 so its still there...

 

I got my hole in one on hole 3. That and 6 are the two par 3 holes so they'd be quickest. My feeling is that 3 is more likely to produce a hole in one as its a short iron (with the wind blowing toward you, aim a little short of the pin and hope) but 6 is probably quicker to play as its a fairly flat easy green.

 

9 is quick and easy par 4. Power drive the right hand side, short iron as close to the flag as possible, nice flat putt for a birdie.

I just run up and down the main strip at night when there are stacks of people outside all the clubs. The cops seem to pull up behind you, hop out of their cars and shoot you so as you're running up the street chasing peds down and smashing them, you just naturally run away from the cops. Usually don't die until I get right to the end of the strip. Could waste time hiding in an alley but I just re-spawn and run back the other side of the strip.

More than likely your hole in one can be achieved on a par 3. Should be common sense if you've ever played or watched golf in your lifetime.

In SP the game is limited to daylight hours. I don't recall the exact hours but it's around 0600 - 0700 until 1800 - 1900. The first time you approach the clubhouse outside of the normal operating hours you'll get a message with the hours on it.

 

In online the golf game is accessible at any time.

 

Lights for night golfing would be an entertaining twist but really wouldn't affect game play. Making the puddles and lightening during rain storms more than just cosmetic would be a more twisted add on IMO but I'm not holding my breath.

Hole 3 I've put the first shot close enough to the hole for an automatic putt.

 

Hole 5 I've eagled.

 

Hole 6 I rattled the pin with the first shot.

 

Still looking forward to a hole in one.

I need to golf eventually cause I need to kick my strength up. Is it true that it also helps you take more damage not just from falls but from bullets as well?
