[PS3] Having some issues with R2 button

So I bought this new controller on a local store, it's not a Sony official, it's some brand I've never heard of. Anyways, I'm trying to play GTA V, but this controller doesn't let me shoot, and when I try to drive, the car drives really slow, any car or bike will drive slow. When I try to shoot he kinda aims to shoot but nothing happens. This happens in both Online and Singleplayer mode. Any ideas? Thank you.
