Armored trucks constantly spawning?

it happens pretty often

first I thought it was a glitch or something but it sort of makes sense

I mean the whole point of having them in free-roam is so players can compete over them

but you can't really compete if there's just one and it gets robbed before you get there

so they made them spawn in groups so every1 can get a chance to nab one

 

at least that's my theory

2-4 people in the lobby they will spawn like mad. Me and this other random in the lobby got around 13 each a week ago, we were both on different ends of the map.

Simeon vehicles only interrupt it, so just blow that bastard up and boom more armored truck insanity. I'm not pulling this out of my ass either. I've done this many times, and it always gets them spawning again. It only ends for good when someone leaves the session.

I can vouch for this, every time Simeon's HPV appears, we blow it up and trucks immediately spawn.

 

 

Is there any sort of trick to making the HPV appear? Got the text from Simeon and have been cruising around for ages and it hasn't appeared on the map.

Had this happen again yesterday, and I've come to a few conclusions.

 

1. Both times, it happened in an Invite Only session, with under 4 people.

 

2. It's best to hit the trucks in a close group. For whatever reason, there was the odd appearance of what we were calling a "Ghost Truck" - a truck that still appeared on the radar map, but only for the people that wasn't near the truck when it was robbed. Other trucks wouldn't spawn unless that Ghost Truck was finally caught up to by that player, and then disappeared from the map.

 

3. Using a silenced shotgun between the handles doesn't guarantee 0 stars. I was using the AP Pistol from my drivers seat, and would get the same percentage of "Freebies" as my buddy, who was rocking his shotgun.

 

4. Alternate the trucks with friends. It's so much easier if you take turns getting the trucks, especially if you've got 3 Stars. Don't be a greedy dick, and just go lose those 3 stars while someone else gets the next truck. Also, calling Lester is a great easy way to lose those 3 stars.

 

5. If a HPV shows up, it'll pause the glitch. At this time, i suggest getting one person to go grab the vehicle, and let the others take a bathroom break. As soon as the vehicle is delivered (or destroyed, if you prefer) the glitch will automatically and immediately resume spawning more Trucks.

 

6. Keep lots of snacks handy! You can regenerate your health to full by eating snacks while driving in your car. It might seem like a waste, but it's a very good idea to have full health just in case one of the guards gets out of the truck and blasts you, or pedestrians decide to smash into you.

 

 

Last night, my friend and I pulled in $1.6 million combined, and gained countless levels. He went from a Rank 74 to 83.
