Armored trucks constantly spawning?

So me and some crewmates were driving around LS airport when we noticed an armored truck, looking to make some quick cash we took advantage, two seconds later another truck spawned, then another and another. We spent 45mins taking turns robbing the trucks until they finally stopped spawning.

 

Is this supposed to happen, or is it some kind of glitch? Who knows!? You decide.

 

P.S This has probably been posted before but guess what? I don't care! If you want to troll, flame, or otherwise be a dick in anyway shape or form please at least make it funny so I can get a good laugh.

I hit about 6 of them, giving me around 2000rp each time. They only stopped when my friend's left and it was just me in the session.

 

I think the secret is, do a lobby with just your friend's and then you're laughing!

This has been happening since launch. Great way to make money if you're short of some cheddar and you're too lazy to spam some RR!

I think most people that frequent crew/friend only sessions have had this at some point. I was worried that they might've fixed it with 1.10, glad they haven't, it's awesome fun with a crowd.

they seem to spawn around individuals, i remember chasing some guy in a plane because the trucks kept spawning on the roads below him. he had no clue

I usually just unload on the handles, works fine for me.

Literally just happened to me!! Robbed 10 trucks 2000RP each.... can't complain

Doesn't have to be a friends only session. Just one with a generally small number of players [2-4].

Truck still spawns at rare and random intervals regardless.

 

The only people who claim this a frequent occurrence likely session jump often,

and probably never get their asses off of the game, ever.

Not picking on you here, but when I made a heist thread you were quick to say 'Oh this has been done before' but when people do it to you, they are dicks? - Not just me either, I often see you commenting on threads 'DIS HAS BEEN SED B4'. But it's not a big deal.

OT: The trucks seem to do this quite often and now sometimes the game will drop a crate which never actually lands after quite a few trucks have spawned. My theory on this is the devs have implemented a fail safe for when the armoured trucks spawn so this crate which never appears just cuts them off to stop the players from exploiting this bug. I'm surprised you haven't encountered this before, I love it when this happens and I rip the arse out of it to the fullest extent, usually walking away with a lot of RP and a big chunk of cash.

I believe it has something to do with the car spawning mechanics. Where if you see a certain car you havent seen in a long time all you will see is those cars. Even before 1.10 (1.07 is the first i saw of this), if one spawned then i knew 5 more would soon follow. The most iv gotten in one sessions was 16 and i missed 3 to other players and left while they were still spawning. I saw a video on YouTube where you can actually speen up their spawning rate, It was really simple and i wish i remember the name of the video because it would be interesting to test and see if it still worked.

Holy crap, I wish I'd get this glitch. I see unicorns more often than armored trucks.

It is a glitched event. If you are quick you can get around 60 cars to spawn. It will end as soon as you steal a simeon list car or the HP green car pops up. Between me and my brother, it happens most of the time when we play together, 263 cars robbed.

I usually just unload on the handles, works fine for me.2-3 shots dead center between the handles with silenced assault shotgun will get it open with no wanted level. Wear a mask, follow the truck till it tops at a light with no witnesses around, you'll get away clean everytime. Edited February 16, 2014 by jbarb78

Simeon vehicles only interrupt it, so just blow that bastard up and boom more armored truck insanity. I'm not pulling this out of my ass either. I've done this many times, and it always gets them spawning again. It only ends for good when someone leaves the session.

I can vouch for this, every time Simeon's HPV appears, we blow it up and trucks immediately spawn.

Armored trucks appear quite frequently and doesnt matter if its in a private room or public lobby. Doesnt matter if there is only one person or 16 people. When you have people from different crews going after the same truck you will have quite a bit of conflict.

Well specifically at the airport, while with my crew members, the trucks would spawn, get robbed and then not even 10 seconds later a new one would respawn a few feet away. I've seen them spawning often, but not like that.

I have never had this either unfortunately. Most I have had is 2 in a session and that was about half an hour between each of them. I also noticed since 1.10 you can get away without any stars too. Anyone else had this?

I get one about every game day. Wanted level seems to vary between 1 or 3 stars.

no idea if a bug or glitch and certainly dont care either, im glad this happens because it gives me something else to do rather than driving around, and killing/defending myself from other players. Also it gives good RP and cash.

 

Its the best when people are fighting for them.

I've also noticed this a few times, and even before 1.10. I've got the plat award for this so i've stopped hitting them every time i see them.

I dropped into a lobby with one other player after a mission and this happened.. it was before the last patch but it went on for what seemed like about an hour.. it was getting harder to hit them as more people came in, but it was pretty fun and very profitable for us

Fair enough, me and my lot look out for one another too. It is team work and it's good people still have decency among them.
