EnhFuncs is a mod that adds new functions to models, designed for both weapons and for vehicles.

 

 

It works just like other mods functions to models, but also with a .cfg.

To have a weapon with some function of this mod, simply download and install.

To adapt a weapon to some function, read files "How To Adapt" coming in the download.

 

 


 

Actual list of functions:

 

- 1F [break Action | "sawbarl"] - Possibility to model a gun that the barrel is broken when reloading (original sawnoff GTA comes with this feature!)

 

- 2F [slide Cover | "slidecover"] - Possibility to model a gun with a piece that goes behind when shoot, the generally the "slide cover" of weapons like Glock

 

- 3F [Penknife | "knifeblade"] - Possibility to model a penknife with the blade opening and closing

You can download some weapons with this functions, clicking here, feel free to publish their functional weapons (or vehicles in future) here in this topic

 

 


Change Log:

 

------ 26/08/15 (New script)

- Main script rewritten from scratch with less CPU usage and RAM, not now lose more FPS. (EnhFuncs uses the same system for vehicles). Before the game could give lag if appears many people with weapons (such as police officers during high wanted level).

- Fixed the "sawbarl" making the animation to reload twice.

- Fixed Cameras commands (were wrong in the readme).

- Added ability to change the game speed during the camera mode, thus being able to visualize the movement of the functions in slow motion etc. Cool to test and create videos demonstrating their weapons.

- Less limit of models such as the "knifeblade" working for any melee weapon, and not only the knife.

- Fixed camera 3 having the same configuration as the 1.

- Rewritten error warnings, better and more warnings, such as checking files and version of crack.

- Improved the default setting of the sawn-off (best locations and times).

- Improvements in .txt of tutorial of how to adapt the functions.

- Fixed the "slidecover" activating immediately at pick up a gun adapted to it.

- Funções não duplicando na mesma arma.

- The gun did not bugs if the .cfg not be loaded.

- .ini file with some settings, including the camera positions.

- English and Portuguese using the same scripts. Language set in the .ini.

- Among other improvements not visible to the player.

- Now you can put a high number in movemment speed

- Fixed the bugs of the function don't work in some times

i will make a "penknife" with function to open now, but i need to finish my other mod (Tuning Mod) .-.

I have to attach dummy model (let's say pistol slide cover) to whole pistol or leave it unattached?

Please ad the slide cover to Scopet, i mean the action on recharge the weapons. Please :D

Would it be possible to add reload functions such as cocking the pump shotgun and also magazines that can be seen getting replaced while reloading?

Cool! I would like to suggest some features that would be helpful though:

 

- Can you add moving turrets for any vehicle? This feature is available in SA Vehicle Special Abilities Editor but it doesn't work at all. This would be great for added tanks in the game.

- Add working landing gears and jet engine sounds for added planes.

man, this is VERY simple, only reading the .txt in the download of the mod.. or simple download a weapon compatible to it and look how was created

(i don't speak english to make a video for it lol)

I read the readme, also cracked some .dffs open and tried to see how it was made

 

Have no clue, the English isn't 100% so I'm having a tough time.

 

 

Could you simply add steps?

theres no problem in anyway, all old adapted weapons works yet etc

 

 

(please, i saw peoples putting .cs and .bms files in download of they weapons, DON'T MAKE THIS PLEASEEEEE, if a people have 3F and download your weapon with this .cs and .bms files, will replace the 3F by 2F or 1F etc...

is like to put cleo 3 library in download of your mod cleo 3 when already exists cleo 4 and will exist cleo 5)

Enhanced Functions 3F RELEASED!

 

i said about problems with performance ↑ but the performance of the mod is all ok now, no more FPS dropped here...

i didn't needed to change anything from beta to this release, i only fixed a things in .rar etc

yeah, i used rwFrameFindNodeByName (0x004C5400) in a loop with all weapons of all actors in all time and not for only one time (facepalm)

i made this mod very fast and nothing "neat", few hours, then gets a sh*t, -6 FPS with weapons and -16 FPS with vehicles, now is better (-0 :) )

- Sawnoff.cfg by default on Sawbarl folder

- Little performance improvements



...i think is all ok now, i will work with new function soon, i don't know which function, lots of ideas and i don't know where start and when i will have time and desire :) haha
