The stats on that website only seem to be "truly" updated when you search for the player. A few days ago I searched up my character for "sh*ts and giggles" and it was still showing that I had $4+ billion from my DNS Server days.

 

Alternatively there are some Shark Cards you can purchase or people with no lives.

If you were doing drugs or something but weren't hurting anyone and I reported you to the cops, that's snitching. I used the word 'work' on the basis that I thought anyone reading would understand that I meant the time and effort spent, within the context of the game. also, I didn't realise I put 'video games', but there has been research into the relationship between cheating in games and cheating in real life, with a correlation stating around 4 or 5 times more likely, studied it in college around 8 years ago so on't have a source.

I have 1.6 million earned the hard way. I get into freemode sh*t with people who obviously have tonnes of cash still as they don't give a sh*t about blowing up all PV's in sight.

Buuuuuuuuuuuuut seriously how does this affect me? I can just as easily spawn kill them as they can me all dependent on SKILL. They could have everything in the game but with no skill its useless.

I was gifted money back when that happened. I spent like a mofo, I enjoyed it, then they took it away. I had been a beast in freeroam, and guess what, I STILL f*ckIN AM. I have been right down to 50k after the 550k and still whilst being an asshole in freeroam at times I'm back to 1.6 the hard way (barring selling my 1 adder from my second character to get the new car which is kinda separate as I got less than i spent on the new 1).

Now as for the big guns. I had literally got the tank and buzzard in the week before the gifting started so it had no affect on my firepower in that way.

Fact is, when i meet somebody better than myself, they kick my ass, and vise versa. Point being, WEALTH AS IT STANDS HAS NO IMPACT ON FELLOW GAMERS!!!!!

and also why do you haters of those who have the dishonest cash continue to ignore the very apt point being made several times in the thread already (i mean seriously, you have not even acknowledged it) that those of the GTAO community who are already wealthy IRL and therefore able to buy CC without a worry (and yes this includes rich kids who have/never will work a day in their real lives) are able to make it to be the same in the game world. Unrestricted ability to grief/harass and troll other players in FM with their tanks and military aircraft.

 

Unlimited money to use MW services and/or Pegasus services to troll/grief/harass other players in FM

 

Unrestricted ability to place unwanted multi-million/billion dollar bounties on other players in FM.

 

Unlimited cash flow to buy the most $$$$ mods at LSC (provided they've already cheated with RP/DNS hacks and/or traded races with crew/friends to unlock vehicle mods first).

 

Unfair vehicle/weapon/armor advantages in races and DMs missions v. clean players

 

Cheaters and hackers have basically f*cked up the GTAO economy. That's regardless of whether they have billions GTA$ or a measly hundred thousand in their bank accounts, Because by default of the cheating mindset they take toward playing GTAO, they usually end up with an unlimited ability to f*ck up the game economy by doing all of the above. Which btw, is probably the main reason why R* has been unable to activate BAWSAQ to date. Or provide new DLC like heists or the rumored casino on a more regular basis.

 

We now know that R* allowed those players with tons of cash before the maintenance sweep--aka cheaters and hackers--to keep the toys they bought with their illegal tons of cash. So this still enables them to do all of the above. Except maybe now the extent of the trolling/griefing has been toned down considerably since the last 2 updates.

I was referring to all the reasons which made the maintenance sweep and recent 1.10 necessary.

 

I don't know about you, but during Christmas--when the cheater/hacker inmates finally took over the GTAO asylum--FM was in one seriously FUBAR state.

 

The degree of hacking and glitching around the holidays finally approached the lunacy factor. You couldn't go anywhere in a public session without someone placing a multi-billiion dollar bounty on you. Or gifting you unwanted multi-millions...

 

I suspect this (and the floods of ticket complaint threads at RGSC) was what finally made R* get off their asses and start cleaning up the game.

 

And even after 1.10, ppl are still using bounties to grief other players. I had a 9k slapped on my char within several seconds of him spawning in his safe house. Instead of disappearing into an Invite session for an easy atm payout, I decided to have some fun with the lower level players who would be stalking his ass.

 

Sent him to check out the new Valentine day clothing at Posonby's. Quite predictably, a cluster f*ck of white dots began congregating outside the store. None of these n00bs were over lvl 20 level btw. So I made my char quit shopping and take cover in the changing room area. Then one of the n00bs finally figured out you can carry weapons into the store. So he strutted on in---and became intimately acquainted with my char's new, shiny Gusenberg Sweeper. That's when the rest of them rushed the store. And began dropping like flies...

 

After a 5 min stand off against these fools and the cops, I called in a favor from Lester and removed the wanted level. That's when the real fun and games of cops v. idiot n00b criminals began. Spent the next 10 mins enjoying the theatrics of WWIII and Armageddon unfold outside the store.

Still invalid IMO. I have unlimited access to all those things without cheating just from the fact I play a round game and do a bit of everything. Two big missions easily pays for a maniacs ammo for a few days. Tanks/Buzzards and anything else, get real bro, they r $200 to call out. Plus you can get em straight away after they are destroyed. A grand would be 5 tanks or 5 buzzards, just a grand.

Still doesn't bother or affect me or my game play what others with billions do.
