Teleporting Is Still Here

Well apparently Teleporting isn't patch as previously though i have been seeing people do it all night.

 

What i found out Playlist teleporting IS patched but not quick job teleporting.

 

What they are doing is going onto there phones and picking a random job and then exiting out of the job therefore teleporting.

 

R* really needs to fix this.

At what point do you exit the job? I've tried this and always end up where I was originally. I've only ended up at the mission location when I've been kicked.

I'm not sure how they are doing it but I had a few guys do this with me last night. They disappeared in the middle of a gunfight and appeared half way across the map. One of them was using the old method just to disappear then reappear whilst my attentions had turned to his buddy. Luckily I was prepared and I've now entered a 3 day no deaths streak which I've never been anywhere near before. The dlc has people not watching their backs, great multi-killing opportunities. Clever killing is awesome and my Gusenberg Sweeper KD ratio is currently on par with its bodycount, its gonna look awesome up until I get killed.

Why should they? What if a crew of 5 people are spawn raping you with tanks and your friends are all waiting for you in Blaine County or something? You need a way out without having to stand on a roof with passive mode on, hoping they go away (which, knowing how stubborn griefers are, they won't).

 

Now i know that doesn't happen to everybody, but it's still needed. I like to use it to travel quickly across the state for instance. I know it's a 'glitch' but there are plenty of stupid glitches that should be patched before the one that's helpful.

Yup they were bouncing from all over the map in impossible travel times and they weren't in jets because there blips weren't moving just disapearing and popping up elsewhere

Of all the game breaking and cheating glitch, they tried to patch the one that is helpful againts griefer. Im glad its still there though.

I can confirm it works. Last night I was out in the middle of nowhere and I pulled out my phone to do a "quick job", picked "random jobs" and ended up in a lobby for "Prison Thugz Fight" which I hate, so I quit the lobby before the job started and I was standing outside the prison.

I chased a bounty that did this today. I was in a Buzzard so it was easy to move around, but I bailed after the second transport. What's the point of it? Why not just go invite only if you want the bounty that much?

It works, just make sure its a type of job with a trigger location, like a death match.

If it's random location than it can't be used offensively. Only for example because you can't choose where you wanna go.

 

I've tried playlist teleporting a bunch and best I could get is being dumped out into the street half way to where I selected.

 

It's good that it still works in some fashion cause you need an out from a griefer once in a while.

Here's how just find a race somewhere on the map. Hover above it click start job, then start the race, then either do it quick or just bring up the phone and back out.

 

If there is not a race where you need to go make one quick.

 

But dont worry rockstar will fix it sometime or another. I only use it for fast travel since the damn cabs don't work.

See this is bullsh*t imo.

 

Teleporting is a cheap tactic which is used to avoid deaths which you may deserve. How often does one guy get raped by 5 people? Unless its a crew and you were stupid enough to get their attention. Passive mode has a purpose and thats it.

 

Teleporting has been used for cheap things which continue to annoy people, for instance high rankers who teleport to the special crates and prevent low ranks who need the RP from getting it, you call that fair or useful?

 

Put simply, anyone that defends teleporting is doing so because they are a scrub that gets beasted and cannot figure out how to use passive mode tactically.
