Yes. This is an actual warning.

 

So... I was doing a mission (mixed up with coke) I used my slot 1 car (Truffade Adder) to chase the remaining cement trucks and after I finished the mission, I left online.

Then came back the next day... And suddenly!

 

"Your personal vehicles has been destroyed.

To protect your vehicles in the future,

Buy insurance. Blah blah blah..."

 

So... Yeah... f*ck...

 

Bottom line.

Don't use your personal vehicles due to new bugs of even more cars losing their insurance!

 

I'm not trolling or anything, I'm serious. It happened to me unfortunately. :(

My theory:It's like R* saying to players "I'm gonna destroy you PV for foreverz so that you will end up poor and buy our cesh curdz :panic:

Wait so we can't use our PV's at all? It's the San Andreas "I don't want my car to get shot at twice by the Ballas and then blow up, So I'll just leave it in my garage for aver" issue again

The Op is talking about the random ins. loss on cars, this unfortunately has been happening to several players.

 

The only thing I can suggest is take each car back to LSC and hit the insurance a bunch of times, per car and take it back to the garage and so on.

 

the slot 1, 3, 5, 7 and 10 seem to be the culprits, some experience no problems, others some, and a small number are experiencing issues with ALL 5 of those odd numbered slots.

 

I have no idea why, but the only thing i can say if you've lost your car is file a support ticket.

I've got a Comet in slot 1, it's my favourite car to drive and I haven't had it out in weeks 'cause of this sh*t.

I'll have forgotten how to drive it by the time this bullsh*t's over.

I don't judge a man by the car he drives. and in fact I only have two super cars, ironically which I don't drive all the time. And the cars I do have, like my ruiner and my grainger are considered commonplace cars. However if they suddenly disappeared, I would be very unhappy, I have lot of memories in those cars and I love them.

 

Like the man said in Full Metal Jacket "There are many like it, but this one is mine."

 

well I think people take a sense of ownership over the cars they have, especially since half the time they are your avatar in the game, you see them more then your actual character to be honest. So it's only natural people have attachment and love for them.

 

And when they are gone for good, there is a sense of loss. Don't be an ass just because it's a car you don't like, you wouldn't like it if it happened to you and people were being dicks about it to you would you. No you wouldn't. SO give this man some sympathy.

 

And OP, I'm sorry for your loss man, file a support ticket and R* support should reimburse you.

OP I have experienced the same, lost my Phoenix this way,and overall this game has eaten five of my modded vehicles.
