Downtown Cab Co.

I was just scrolling though my phone and i just noticed that Downtown Cab Co. was in my contact list.

 

This is weird because i never see any cabs driving around the city but i know you can call them though.

 

I think i called them one time and had the cab take me somewhere while i was afc and that was back in October i haven't called them ever since.

 

Does anybody else ever call them to drive you somewhere?

I think it'd be cool if we could do cab missions online.

 

Like you could get into a cab and push a button to turn the cab sign on and a msg would be sent to everybody in the session saying "So & So is now driving a cab, Need a ride" and if someone wants one you'll get a waypoint set for them and then you drive them to a previously selected destination (So they can't keep changing it on you) and like in real life the person pays by the mile but it isn't a cheap ride though

i used to use them when i was a noob trying to get a lazer, never knew how the mechanic worked so i always had a taxi lol

But the cab needs to be invincible and the driver unkillable or...

Called twice and bailed before my stop (couldn't get the rush like in GTA IV). Cabbies hate that but,it was worth it to piss him off both times. If you ask me,unless they have a DLC coming to do cabby missions - a waste like Lemar/Gerald/Simone/that skydiving fag. Use Packie/Brucie more Rockstar!!!

Well they would obiously make it so they can't kill you.

I use it every now and then when I go for a smoke. Just bail when I get back and get free rep for loosing the 1-2 stars.

I was using the Cab one time and this guy came up and killed the cabbie not me and drove off in a hurry and sat at the stoplight sending me a text saying something to the sort of "You're a [email protected]**ot for using a cab* and wasn't driving so i pulled up next to him threw a sticky and blew him up and i sent a text back saying "Make sure you kill the right person next time"

That's a good one . I stupidly shot a gun while in the taxi and the driver did his usual instant handbrake and flee. I figured that now that I had a taxi, I'd see what shenanigans I could get into. I picked up and dropped off 4 other players (two at a time funnily enough) and then ended up getting stickied by some twelve year old who wouldn't stop calling me a hacker for having one. Needless to say, it became a 5 on a 1 against this kid until he left.

If I'm in an invite only lobby and don't want to get booted while I go to the bathroom, get some food, or the like, I call a taxi. I then set the waypoint to the other side of the map. Most of the time when I get back they are still driving around.

If they can make it so you don't kill your teammates while in a mission then they can make it so you can't kill the driver.
