New (?) Submarine Spawn Point in Los Santos Marina

I've not seen this prior to the 1.10 patch and I've not been able to find any reference to this either on the forum or on Youtube so I thought I'd go ahead and post it up here (apologies if this is old news)...

 

The submarine now spawns in the Los Santos Marina (just to the north of the helipad) regardless of the in-game time between 8am and 12am (midnight). I've checked this out in multiple sessions and it's always usually there between those times.

 

NB: As with other submarine spawn locations, it may not appear the first time you arrive in the area. If it doesn't appear for you the first time, just leave the area and then return and it should spawn.

You cant use camera underwater? And there goes my 1 week of Research and Hard work down the drain.. Now back to the drawing board....

It's been there forever, probably since launch. It only spawns if you're above level 30.

just hop into a session of high levels, gain a bounty from stealing npc cars and wait for them to come pouring in like monsters, while you comfortably wait at the bottom of the ocean:DD

It's definitely there. Just hang out in Invite or Solo sessions more and you'll see it more frequently.

One time I was trading kills with a guy, and then I managed to get away in a car with enough head start to make it to the sub. He still wanted to kill me, so he was following around my white dot on the radar for a long time. It got kind of boring for both of us, so I started playing cat and mouse by randomly coming up toward the surface. He was throwing in grenades and sticky bombs (he could afford them, since this was the time of the cash glitches) and eventually, even though I dived again, he managed to time one of the sticky bombs just right and got me.

Didn't Rockstar praise the fact about all the hidden jems and such?

- shark (gone)

- briefcase (gone unless in single player and a 1 shot deal)

- hidden underwater tunnels (nothing new,move along people)

- sunken ships worth exploring (a lie)

- boats and jet ski's (suck)

What's the use of this thing and/or water for that fact??

There really should be a buyable submarine from the boat site.

 

Hmmm.... Like they glitched and got the Cargobob from Warstock, you think it's possible doing the same thing in getting the submarine from the boat purchase site?
