Crazyeighties
Okay so I basically got this idea form another topic. The one that asks what you do or do not like to be asked. What are things you don't like people to say to you. I hate when people say I know what your going through or I know what it's like. I have been sick all of my life I have never had the best health when I relapsed with cancer I had people that have always been healthy say things like "Oh I'm so sorry I know what your going through". And also people would always say "I know how it feels" or "I know how you feel" It drives me nuts because no one could know how someone feels or what they are going through especially if they have always been healthy. So are there things that people say that just piss you off?
a20characterusername
I don't being told that I 'had it rough' or whatever. I'm healthy, live in a technologically advanced nation and am currently not dying of Malaria or on the front lines of some war that I have no stake in. People who say that kind of stuff usually come off as condescending and patronizing anyway, intentionally or not. I'd say I have it pretty good all things considered. Clem Fandango
So you have actual cancer, and people who don't tell you they know what you're going through? Wh... w... what? Finn 7 five 11, RedBull FM and Frank Brown

Clem Fandango
Actually, it makes sense. I once had a cold and a hangover at the same time, and that's kind of like having cancer. I know how you feel bro. Mr. House
Exkabewbikadid
Nothing is more f*cking obnoxious when I'm feeling perfectly fine and someone asks me why I'm "so sad". Or worse yet when some random person out of the blue tells me to smile. I once went so far as to tell someone right to their face to die in a fire for telling me to smile. Then I saw this on Curb Your Enthusiasm and was relieved that I'm not the only one harassed with such crap. a20characterusername and iiGh0STt
UrbanForce22
I f*cking hate when I'm listening to music and singing at the same time, and some a$$hole tells me to stop singing because I'm ruining the song. Mr. House
I don't like it when people tell me I should make a post telling people what I don't like people telling me. MarshalMoo, a20characterusername and AceRay
t3h PeNgU1N oF d00m
When people ask whats wrong, even though I'm perfectly happy. Apparently I just naturally look angry/depressed. I appreciate your concern, but come on. When I tell someone I'm going to school for a Civil Engineering degree, and they act like I'm crazy and start talking about how I should switch to another degree. I know it can be a tough degree, but just because you can't do it doesn't mean I can't. Those two dreaded words: "I'm Pregnant." Finn 7 five 11
I don't like when people say "You can't do that!" Or "Why not just keep doing what you're doing, you're too old for that." f*ck off, just because I don't want to have a boring steady life like you doesn't mean I can't do it. ShadowDog94
I don't like being told that I'm too old for something or I shouldn't be doing something or anything to do with not conforming to other people's personalized view of the world. iiGh0STt
thank you for your service i know, its hypocritical... but the only reason I am thanked half the time is because people can see my one good leg, and my one fake one. I just want to yell "I LOST A f*ckING LEG SERVING! and now because of it I cannot serve and am the pitty f*ck of the US Army" thank someone else who did not hand out skittles to a little girl 2 hours before one of her cousins RPGed my truck. thank a Fobbit, who will never even know what war is even though they are there, in the middle of it. thank some SF medal of honor recipient. Thank the guys who took out Bin Laden. Thank someone who is still serving, and still has the option to do so. Every time I am approached for my service, it angers me because it was not my choice to leave. Of course, I do not expect those people approaching me to understand it, so I am grateful and accept your thanks, because I know your intentions were well meant and you might actually support our troops. good to vent about it here. GTA_stu
When I'm watching a film or a TV programme with someone and they've seen it already. Then they say "This is a good bit coming up". Why why why do people do that. Crazyeighties

THE GHETTO SAMURAI
I hate it when I'm told that I'm a pook or when people think I'm bisexual ( when I'm not ). Other stuff would be when people would spoil the movie for me and I really hate it when people say that I don't eat. Just because I weigh less than 120lbs at 6'0, people think that I don't eat at all and I starve my self to death. If they really know me I have high metabolism and I don't really get that hungry a lot due to having really low blood pressure.
