Fast cars not so fast?

Why is it that when you are running from Merryweather or from the Professionals you cant really outrun them they will always be on your ass! I keep noticing it especially when I am using my Adder or Entity. Those are suppose to be like the fastest cars in the game, and yes I do have them all fully upgraded to the max. I just really get why its like that.

I think the AI is supposed to catch up to you,even if your Car is one of the Fastest.

I always notice this while I'm in my Buzzard,fleeing from the LSPD Choppers,.They spot me,*woosh*, they are right on my A** again.

Rubber Band effect.

 

No matter how fast you drive or fly the AI will always catch up.

 

The driving mechanics in this game is terrible.

I do enjoy a good Merryweather chase through the countryside. Real Cohen Brothers-esque.

Pretty sure the Veyron can hit 260mph in real life. Maybe more.

No car should be able to catch the Adder on a straight line sprint. I know its a game but still...

I love it when i do a wheely past an Adder at top speed with the Bati 801 RR... You can see them think 'wtf is going on here?'
