Are NPC's too accurate when doing drive-bys?

The Lonesome Drifter

I was just playing "grab your ballas", and while protecting the van driver, about 4 enemy SUV's spawned behind us. I'm not to bothered about infinitely spawning enemies, but what I am bothered about is how, despite me having MAX HEALTH, and being about 150 metres away from them and driving at max speed, they SOMEHOW hit me about 10 times in rapid speed, effectively instakilling me and my entire team instantly.

They really need to be nerfed, play the mission and you'll see what I mean.

Police officers in general.

They have this creepy Xray vision.

And please R*, let the robocops show us mercy by arresting us!

First off, yes, their aim is equivalent to on foot aim, and I wish cops would shoot at you instead of suiciding/ramming.

All of the AI have aimbots.

Whether you're on foot, in a boat, a car or an air vehicle, you can see every bullet hit the same damn spots.

Yeah. Them Grangers are deadly.

But but... These ballas were in ballas...

God knows how accurate they are in Merryweather Patriots...

Always been blown away how a police chopper can hit you in a freakin fighter jet no matter what maneuvering you pull, or mid air top speed in and adder. Completely bullsh*t

That mission is easy as dirt and they don't infinitely spawn, about 6 SUVs show up even on hard. Take cover and stop playing like a newb. It's a fun kill farming mission though, except stealing the truck.

I had a mission(can't remember the name) where they would just infinitely respawn for like ten minutes or so, their drive-by aiming is ridiculous that's why I usually get off the car and finish them off before proceeding.

Most infinitely spawning npc in missions has been patched with the latest update. Just free aim the windshield easy 31 rp per kill. I don't have a problem with npc in vehicles. They are dirty accurate yes but either kill em or take off in a fast car.

I pretty much think this for all enemy AI in general for this game. I thought Arma 3's AI was accurate, but the ones in GTA V give Arma 3's AI a run for its money.

Not only do they know where you are at ALL times, or always know your relative location, but their super accurate like hitting me from huge distances in car chases.

Wow, everyone actually seems to agree that NPC aim is a bit too precise.

It's out of control... try the Lost. Their accuracy on those flimsy little bikes is out of this world. It defies all logic that meth-heads are as accurate as Merryweather.

Also, don't even get me started on those Mission helicopters... every shot they make lands, whether it's on you, or your car. They never miss! Almost no chance of survival if you're pinned by a Merryweather helicopter.

I would say yes.

But without that I feel they would be too bad.

You can solo most missions even ones that are for 6 players.

So yes they are too much but it balances it out.

NPCS are too much cops etc. in missions though no.

Well I'm not a noob, I am lvl 118, my entire team was over level 100, and it was on hard+free-aim.

Besides this isn't just about this mission, but the npc drive-by accuracy in general.

How about the Merryweather choppers in Defender? Those guys snap to you and manage to peg you from far away even when you're facing away from them. Can't say I've died in that mission other than walking into the Buzzard's tail rotor after landing it at Sandy Shores though.

Good point. In free aim with the Sweeper I can clear the garage in Rooftop Rumble in under 30 seconds. Have to climb up the wall outside (to the right if you're facing the garage) and ambush from the window-thing, though. They're just easier to see that way.

Ya they are waay to accurate.

But the easy counter is using a car with a bullet proof back end. Then, they are next to harmless unless the spawn right in front of you and smash you.

So its really up to you how you want to play it. Sometimes i play whole missions of foot just for laughs.

I was killed twince in a row today in some mission where you had to steal planes from Trevor's airstrip.

My mouth was wide open as I didn't know WTF just happened. Don't even get me started on Buzzard gunners.....

Are they really that accurate though? For example if you're ever in a car with a bud and decide to shoot someone not in cover. How fast can you mow em down? I'd say much quicker than a couple of ballas. No need to make the game easier. The missions are already easy as dirt, on free aim and hard.

Lol Landing Gear needs a minimum of 4 players and a recommended of 6 for a reason.

As the greatest GTA online player in the entire universe I wreck NPC's no matter what they are doing. Get on my level.

You could be going 200 miles per hour in an Adder surrounded by a force field that f*cking Darth Vader put up, swerving in and out of traffic on an overpopulated highway in Vietnam and you'll still get hit from some f*cking NPC trailing 400 yards behind you. f*ckin BOsh*t
