Unremovable Pistol .50

this problem has plagued me for ages now and I'm not contacting Rockstar support again because the last time I tried to get this fixed they did something so when I checked to see if it had worked all my weapons had gone except for the Pistol .50

 

it's not like I don't like the weapon I just don't like having weapons I never use cluttering up my inventory, the thing is though I can drop the other CE weapons (the bullpup shotgun and the hammer) but it's impossible for me to drop the Pistol .50 because the game acts like it doesn't exist, I bring up the weapon wheel, scroll to the .50 and press Y to drop it and nothing, no animation and no dropping of the weapon.

 

the reason I say it acts like it doesn't exist is when I press Y with the weapon wheel up and I'm near a vehicle my character will move towards it and enter the vehicle, it's almost as if this weapon is an anomaly and the game is saying it doesn't exist, I would contact Rockstar support but last time they were pretty useless in resolving the situation.

 

I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem and if they have managed to get it resolved or if it's still ongoing.

You know this is quite ironic actually. This was mentioned as being fixed in the latest patch

Got exactly the same problem... can drop the hammer and the bullpup, but not the deagle

I wish the character would put the sawn off against their chin too.

 

But yes, I just tested this and it hasn't been fixed... I'd call rockstar out on this one - thats not very impressive on their part.
