Your favorite station + song?

Personally, I listen to a bunch of radios. I like listening to Johnny Cash and that convoy song when I'm cruising in the desert, Radio GaGa while cruising the beach or flying an airplane or boating a boat, Los Santos Rock Radio or Non Stop Pop when in the city, and the talk show when flying helicopters or in my garage.

So which radio satin and song do you prefer?

My extensive list raises the idea of being able to make custom radios, that way we can listen to songs we want to and not 90% of the crap songs that are in the game.

Lol, I never hear Radio GaGa on LS Rock Radio anymore. Kinda weird, since I hear the same songs, over and over again.

 

My feels appeared today, when I (IRL) walked in the shopping mall, when suddenly in the speakers, Radio GaGa was played. Made my shopping trip veeery exciting.

I'm sick of every song on every station now. I didn't think it would ever happen, but I'm even done with 'Baker Street' (one of my all time favorites). I've shut off the radio volume now so I don't have any music in any cars. Much better.

I love ADHD kendrick lamar, nine is god wavves and ambitionz tupac. I've always been into hiphop but never Tupac before. The combo of the game and track got me listening at last.
Kendrick surprised me as I'm an old school fan but I just like ADHD and since have checked a few more of his tracks. Reminds me of bone thugs, its kool.
Wavves I had no idea about but this song is amazing.

As for station, the whole of FlyLo FM. I can literally listen to that whole thing on loop. Some of those mixes and transitions are unbelievable and the Tyler track grew on me to the point that I now listen to it a lot but mainly that game expo live performance, damn that sh*t is next level.

Generally I have no complaints about any of it though. I love the country tracks they chose, the pop music and most of the other stations too. I guess my only problem is the lack of metal and ambient 80's which have both since been revealed as having been extensively cut during the production process.
I mean there is no real metal in this game or even hard rock really. There is a lot of punk on the rock station which R* seem to think is rock music lol. Then the alternative station has the same vibe, its all so punky. Then again the cut rock tracks had bands like Oasis in there which made me LOL and cry DO YOU GUYS EVEN KNOW WHAT ROCK/METAL IS? They apparently either don't or just hate it.

I don't know why people knock on the soundtrack so much. Yeah, it gets repetitive after a while, but it is much better and more diverse than GTA IV. I think GTA V and Vice City are the only soundtracks so far that have encapsulated the feel of the time and place the games are set.

 

Plus, I bet a great deal of those who hate the soundtrack are people who are unwilling to stray far outside their comfort zone, musically. Give other genres and styles a chance people!

I usually listen to East Los, i like to hear my language in the game at most times, but also i like to listen Los santos rock radio, rebel radio and wet coast classics.

From those stations, if i have to pick my favorite songs, they would be:

LSRR: Radio GaGa, Baker street and Photograph.

Hardly listen to anything except LS Rock Radio.

 

Ogdens Nut Gone Flake is right up there Small Faces still sound great 50 years on. The Ogdens Nut Gone Flake album was a bit of a landmark really as it was one of the first concept albums. It features stanley unwin and his "unwinese" language.

 

Night Moves is good too. Always seems to be on when driving at night witht he city lights in the distance.
