Annihalator belongs to NOOSE/LSPD not the military. It would look military though if you remove the markings.

 

The buzzard is small, and altough a good small helicopter. It technically isnt classified as a standard attack helicopter (this is where the Hunter comes in)

Although conventional mil guys running around in Online wouldn't work, mercs deffo would. So more gear that leans toward spec ops-ish than regular infantry.

I agree OP but first I would like to see them fix the current attack choppers in V. Go play some GTA 4 and fly in the buzzard or annie, and you'll see what i'm saying. GTA V choppers are a downgrade.

GTA free mode has always been a war zone. The pros are even more action amongst players who like to have a war zone in a sandbox style game, while still retaining all the other little social things that others like. Cons are having to deal with the little bitches crying about getting killed and screaming to go play COD.

The hydra was in one of the game trailers, and the hunter was in one of the in-game movies as well as the warstock life invader photo, so they could be put in a future dlc. There is actually a way to make the Lazer hover like the hydra though:

Humvee would not set foot in one of those. If I had a dollar for every Humvee the US Army/Marines had break down I'd be a millionaire. It's a horrible design:

 

- The framework is very very very weak, lots of parts rattle around. The terrain and roads in Afghanistan are bumpy and horrible. The bumpy ride causes the parts to scrape against each other causing damage. It was not uncommon for a part from the engine to come loose and fall out.

 

- The suspension is rubbish. You feel every single bump. Bruises your ass like hell. Not a comfy ride at all.

 

- It's a flat bottom ride, these are the worse ever. When they drive over an IED the shrapnel is directed upwards straight into the interior and engine. The engine breaks and they're stranded. Some of the shrapnel will also hit the crew. Our ASLAVs have a V shaped bottom this deflects shrapnel away from the interior and engine. These things can drive over IEDs and keep going, minor shake. Compared to the Humvee which will have its tyres blown apart and engine destroyed and possibly flipped.

 

- Tires. The Humvee is a poor choice for any environment, it is easy to get bogged or stuck. The tires melt and pop easily. Not to mention the nuts on the wheels are US standard. While every other country uses NATO standards. If say Australian soldiers have a blow out and need to be repaired any nearby Allied force x an help French, Denmark, British, New Zealand, South Africa. As all our tools are the same size standard. Whilst the US is built to their own standard so if they have a repair job in the field our tools won't fit their screws or nuts. Essentially we have to provide backup and cover them in the middle of the road while potential hostile forces could ambush us. We can't fit the extra troops in with us. We are all sitting ducks. Have to wait for a US Army or Marines unit show up with the right tools. Hell it could take hours. All we want is to fix their vehicle up and get the hell out of their. But we can't because our tools won't fit.

 

What an ASLAV looks like:

 

 

 

As great as that is, the Military in the game is American Army/National Guard. It wouldnt make sense to have a australian made vehicle for that

I agree entirely. I'd also like other costumes like the ones in story mode. Also, I know it probably won't happen, but I would really like gloves to be online. Who robs a bank without wearing gloves? That's asking to be caught. I could could understand if you were like robbing a small store or something, since both in real life and this game they'd go faster than a bank robbery. *sigh*

 

Merryweather outfits would be nice too.

-Javelin (this was needed since yesterday due to tank griefers!!)

-Humvee complete with CROWS 50 cal turret.

A new Sniper rifle would be good, maybe based off the Knight's Armament SR25? There definitely are enough tanks, don't need more of them but IFV on the other hand... Should definitely add Anti-Tank weapons of some sort, RPG doesn't seem to do the job so well.

I agree with you on that. Some people are asking for lock on RPG's etc. which in my opinion is too much, basicly, for the most part, what I asked for in the OP was Military clothing (which is already in the game, but not online) and the Hunter & Hydra (was in the Beta for the game, didnt make the Final cut). In my opinion if you were to make it any more military than that the game wouldn't be good old GTA

yes please!!!!!!!!!! i want military gear badly in gta 5. like one guy said add some army surplus store. and they dont just have old gear they have acu bdu multicam marpat. even other countrys uniforms, its were i got my norway raincoat. aside from that yes add some javelins to stop us from getting killed by jet and tank nubes. maybe something like a humvee. but not to op. also an m4 revolver vector or pp90m1 mp7 and more maybe even some ww2 weapons and equipment like maybe a bar or m1 garand or thomson and even m1919 mg. and maybe some other country guns like mp40 mg42 ppsh sten type 99 or more. now i know its very unlikely but then again it was very unlikely to have that t 34 from russia. and also while were on the ww2 topic why not bring back the rustler from gta sa it was a ww2 plane. and for my last idea military side missions!!!! like the epsilon missions trevor could join fort zancudo and have his own uniform and military vehicle and have barracks. and maybe have like merryweather against the army or something. i know the latter is unlikely but it could be like one of the main story dlcs. ok so i know this is alot to ask but it could all be one huge dlc pack. even if they dont bring all this stuff aleast some of it.

Advanced PMC DLC instead of pure military would be better, as if it's availabe to PMCs then criminals would have an easier time getting them. Guns would be the focus over vehicles/clothing, maybe we could get new bullet proof vests that could have crew emblems on them?

true op i know this most likely wont happen that was like a wishlist but some of it could be real like some new guns and maybe one or two ww2 guns and some uniforms maybe a humvee or a rustler. but the rest was my excitment getting the best of me. but im sure rockstar could put together a small military theme pack like the valentines day pack

Duuuude I agree! I would love to see some military gear, or at least some urban combat stuff. I really want to get a 'spy/special forces' themed crew together. Mostly just to go at some of the missions from a strategic standpoint sometimes instead of rushing thru for the $$$.

There already is spec ops/diving suit/Military men in gear in single player already, I cant see how hard it would be to transfer that into multiplayer

Also, heres what I was thinking, if there ever was a DLC, what it would be called.

 

The Warstock Cache and Carry Expansion Pack.

 

It contains:

 

-Hydra
-Hunter
-Military ATV (or a HUMVV)
-Grey AC-130 Gunship

-Military Gear (already in singleplayer) that players could try on in GTA Online

-Special Ops gear (already in singleplayer) that players could try on in GTA Online

-You can open the back door of a Titan and transport cars/sit players properly without falling out.

-Smoke Grenades

yes, just what needs to be done. more military options for a non military game. i'm all for it.

 

open world more fun to play in? why of course, it wouldn't make sense any other way. sounds like makers of BF, CoD and other military games listening to their consumers is what this game really needs IMO.
