Hey guys! This is my first post on the GTA forums, Im usually a simulation racing guy, but every now and then I play GTA. I have a request/suggestion for a next update/DLC or something, I dont know how much Rockstar reads their Forums, so heres fingers crossed. And I can completely understand if any of these requsts are deemed not possible

 

I (along with my friends) have always wanted more military involvement in GTA online. So here are a Few I'd like to see

 

Military Gear

The Apache Helicopter Back (2 Pilots, W/Rockets, Onboard camera & explosive cannonfire (like on the Lazer), both of which are operated/shot by the co pilot using the FLIR onboard.The Pilot controlles/flies the aircraft

Also

-Ability to Lay down while Firing a Weapon
-Button to open the back door on the Titan & Cargobob instead of having to punch/slam it open.

-Center the Hood view when using Vehicles
-First person in vehicles maybe? :D

-Increase how far cannons can hit their target off the Lazer
-Lazer needs a higher top speed/Bring back the Hydra

 

I know this sort of thing is what games like Battlefield is for, but heres the thing. I find GTA much more enjoyable! :D

u might get something like this for a quick DLC like they did for Valentines Day. but I doubt u will get everything in here. I like the thoughts though.

Im sure they would be able to get in the Hinter (apache) and the Hydra, as well as the Military gear as it was already in game/was being developed for the game

Why would you want military gear though? This is not a war game with soldiers and army's, this is a gangster game with murderers and thieves.

A heli with the same gunpower as the Lazer would be OP.

Another jet to the military base wouldn't hurt though.

There already is an army in the game, we don't need players as soldiers too.

Many would argue that this game would just become Arma if that happened. I think a majority of players would staring wearing this stuff and it would make everyone looks the same. I don't know if that's a good or bad thing.

Full fledged military gear is taking it a bit far, but I'd like to see camo outfits and possibly a ghillie suit.

When some members of the crew and I want to start a foot war in a free roam lobby, we drop our crew colors and get into camo. the options available aren't too bad in my opinion I've found some good combinations. As far as weapons there fine too considering I have the matching tints.

 

We raid in matte camo Patriots also, they fit the bill just fine.

I'm happy with it but for what it's worth a small Military DLC wouldn't hurt.

Another vote for Military gear. All the best heist movies show the the protagonists using various levels of military equipment. Military hardware is bad ass that's why governments don't like civilians having it. proposed us assault weapon ban springs to mind.We already have tanks and jets and attack helicopters in the game and they must be popular based on the amount of times I've been on the wrong end of said hardware. I'd love to blast through town firing a minigun from the top of an armored humvee.

Erm, One could call Merryweather and customise a tactical team of 10. I would gladly purchase a merryweather team and customise them with the latest gear and guns, etc. When I need them I can just call merryweather and they would come rushing to my help. My very own Military Squad.

I agree with all of OP's ideas, especially

-Center the Hood view when using Vehicles

This would be great, if they centered the hood cam & made it much more stable, I might actually want to use it.

Would be good but more people would be raging when players in those helicopters and faster jets kill em, a lot of people rage at people in tanks. So yeah

There you go! That can incorporate that other guys idea about zombies in Los Santos, and gives all you military junkies an excellent reason to have military grade equipment. ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE IN LOS SANTOS!!!

I see where your coming from, but like I said in the OP, due to the fact that GTA is a lot more Open World, there are many more options you could do than BF4 and COD. Which in my honest opinion makes GTA a much more enjoyable game.
