Shame on me for asking this, ok..

 

But can you remove the tracker and insurance from a vehicle.. (more just the tracker than anything else..)???

 

Was trying to swap cars between characters last night via a 2nd player and obv couldn;t..

 

Just attempting to figure out why not..

its a stupid thing, but once a tracker is in place it cant be removed.

wish I'd known that before spending 100k fixing up a Manana for my 2nd... :/

it wasn't even insured..

I presume putting car in garage = automatic tracker?

Oh well, looks like it'll be a faff to get cars for my 2nd.. Just need to rise with my 1st, get car to spawn, call in crew member, have them take over car, call in 2nd to collect and insure it..

 

Oh FFS R* - let us swap cars in our garages!! :/

Hey, 2K is one RPG rocket... :D

If you want to upgrade cars for your second char, have a friend hold on to it in an invite only session while you switch characters.

 

Yup, that's what I'm doing now...

 

THing is, I'd collected a coujple of cars, put them in the garage uninsured and thought I'd be able to hand them over since they weren't insured...

 

dammit!
