How was your day?

Recommended Posts

trip

Well I was in the hospital last night and got discharged this morning and stayed home and slept like a bear. I just woke up right now feeling much better and now need to change up my diet from eating fast food every single day to eating more healthier at home and to sleep more often. But either than that it went good.

And now us down here in the US understand why you Canadian's have such high taxes. Taxes payers paid for you to spend a night in the hospital only to be discharged with a prescription of to not eat fast food every day?

Well that or Candians have a healthcare system that doesn't bankrupt three generations of your family when you get cancer.

And some other crap, like I got some medication to take if I get the same pain. But yea, I kinda think we should have our health care privatized so we can have lower taxes like you guys.

Heart problems? Hypertension?

Well I was born with a heart murmur, so does that count as heart problems ?

Probably you and Trip,

Note that the US government spends more (with tax money) per capita on healthcare than the UK and Canada.

Our taxes aren't that high/bad considering we get pretty decent health care. It think it also ranges from province to province though.

Don't take my drunk ramble the wrong way. I was just making a round about point about the fact that it shouldn't take anything more than basic, common human sense that eating fast food every single day may not be the best way to felling good...having a healthy diet.

It shouldn't take a hospital visit.

No offense JEZUS...I'm not poking this at you...you're a good guy.

Well the thing is that my mom works 6 days straight and has the Saturday off and usually during the week she's really tired. She gone from home for about 12 hours working as a waitress at this Japanese restaurant and most of the time she's working alone. That's a lot of work for a women who has to raise 2 kids and is aging as well ( she's 39 years old ). Because of that she's too tired to cook something and would usually give me $25 - $30 per day to buy something for me and my sister. And when she has the day off she'll usually take me and my sis out to a restaurant. So far I haven't had a home cooked meal in a good 3 weeks so far and like all the fast food joints near me pretty much knows what I'm going to order. And my dad works during the night and sleeps during the day, so he's out, plus as I mentioned in the worst meal thread I said he has the worst cooking skills ever.

And thanks

Tuesday was nice. Went up to Austin like I said. After visiting IKEA, we hit up John Eagle European and Audi North Austin just for the hell of it. Saw my first R8 GT ever:

Took 42 other photos and also spotted an F-Type and three Tesla Model S's. Austin was decent but the traffic and drivers were downright terrible, even compared to San Antonio, and I am kind of glad I live in San Antonio.

I tell you the R8 is the best looking car out there and when I have the cash that's the first thing I'm buying. Where I live you can see the R8 every now and then, like I'm not sure how these people can afford such expensive cars when gas Is so high.

Yeah I was actually looking for the three RS7's they said they had but I found that parked next to the building. Its just so wonderful in person, especially in Suzuka Grey. @Above: expensive cars are pretty common where I live but I've only spotted a few R8's, which all were just the V8 models. I only really have interest in the GT's and the facelifted models.

I recall spotting a lime rock green Corvette C7 with a saddle interior. One of my favorite color combos.

Went to school today; I missed yesterday because I woke up too tired to go. In Spanish class there's a redneck I sit with, and he and his friends are nice people so I don't really mind when when they talk about slamming feral cats in doors and tearing squirrels apart with knives. He's a pretty funny guy, and he made a joke, and I laughed at it, and he laughed because he likes to get me to laugh since I don't talk to anyone in that class much. The rest of the day was uneventful until physics class in which someone made a joke using the word "fag", anyway people started talking about whether it was offensive, and the teacher told the kid who made the joke that it wouldn't be funny if you called a legitimate gay person a fag as an insult, but it was funny if you said it to someone who wasn't gay and it made them mad. The teacher in that class is usually pretty inappropriate about stuff like that, but that was the most terrible thing I've heard him say so far.

I rode my bike home when school was done, but it was really windy today so after a few minutes I said f*ck it and walked instead. Then I went and got my second box of those noodles that taste like playdoh, and this time I threw some more sauce on them, and separated and mixed the noodles up a little better than last time, and now they don't taste so bad, but I think I'm gonna throw away the rest of them before finishing.

No real place to vent so gonna post here. I don't really care about responses. Just want to type this out.

Couldn't sleep as I spent all day yesterday at the hospital, couldn't eat anything all day (not obligated but I couldn't bring myself to eat anything). Was at hospital for check-up, got a bunch of pills for buttons on arms, like dry-skin buttons kind of stuff. Not sure what it's called in English but it's basically harmless but itches sometimes. Gotta put cream on that. Anyway, go to bed at like 7AM this morning (again, I couldn't sleep, I basically lasted as long as I could until I passed out from fatigue). Apparently it's gonna snow 15-30cm, not sure what radio said. So I get up at 1:30PM today, sh*t, go around and look at the driveways I have to clear with truck. It didn't seem to snow at all but few entrances need clearing with hand shovel (go to stairs, etc. we got a few of those). Do that for like 3 hours (one I do needs a way to the back shed but the old f*ck isn't there half the time and NEVER goes to the shed because it's always my own damn shoe prints I see but I do it anyway). That one takes around an hour. It's sh*tty work. So I'm done. Come home. Mom tells me (yeah I still live with my parents f*ck you) snow storm is tonight, as if she's saying my work was useless but at least I took some layers of snow off.

Anyway, I'm pissed. Angry. Upset. You know you're really angry when you want to slam doors on your fingers, you grit your teeth until it hurts and just want to take your face and bash it against a hard surface. I'm just f*cking annoyed how life sucks. How I spend time here. Oh, I make nice posts, I laugh at them, mods edit them because apparently a fake penis isn't allowed. How I'm doing this routine of crap every day. Check PC, play Xbox, work. It sucks. This isn't what life would be like. Anyone reading this, I'm telling you; life is sh*t. Go in the bathroom. Take a huge diarrhea crap. Look at it. That thing lying in that cold water is life. I just don't know what to do. It's like getting a new game with no instructions and you gotta figure out how to master it and there's 30,000 possible things you can do. I feel really defeated.

Hopefully this sums up my day nicely so it's accepted in this thread. :/

Well, I got followed around my place of work all day by a 17-year-old. Given the location of where I work, I summarily started fearing for my life.

Woke up, showered, ate breakfast, went to school, got a free drink from tim hortons, headed home, bought friend a bday present(s) worth 40 bucks but I only paid 14 bucks because I had saved up points on my shoppers optimum card(YAY), then finally got home and made shepards pie that hopefully my mom will eat since shes sick. Also set a date to go surfing in spring, might possibly have a board that I will buy. Brand new and only $400, so we'll see. Am going to jog later tonight and hope to make it to 30mins straight without stopping, in addition to completing my project homework and studying japanese.

Suddenly became lightheaded for the rest of the day and without appetite, body is as hot as hell..

Thankfully it started raining for the first time here in what felt like months, it's always calming.

I woke up at around 7:15 this morning, took a shower and tried booking it to the bus stop but missed the bus by a hare and ended up being late to school this morning. I got to school around 9:10. Some how I didn't get a bitching from my teacher and the rest of the day went swell. I talked with my counselor today and hopefully I'll be able to switch out of my French class for peer tutoring for this grade 9 P.E class, since I'm probably close to failing French ATM. After school I went longboarding out in Richmond and Vancouver since it was nice and warm out and I'm surprised I didn't have a near death experience like most of the times when I go out boarding. Got home ate some dinner and seeing if I got any homework to do or not and If I don't then I might turn on my PS4 for the first time in several months and play some BF4.

I waited about 45 minutes at my bus stop this morning when usually the bus comes every 6-8 minutes.
