Crazy sh*t going on at work.  Toss that in with a sinkhole in my neighborhood really f*cking with the commute.

 

I worked 12 hours in my office yesterday and 12 hours today...and today isn't over(but at least I'm home in comfortable Pac-Man pants).  I have a scary work conference call at work 8:30.  If all goes well it will end by 8:45.  That would make today nearly a 15 hour work day.  I'm exhausted.

Yeah I know, if I didn't give them to the dog I used to have it would go out to proceed eating her own brownies. 

 

Anyway strawberries are sweet as hell this year. Maybe global warming does have its benefits.

I'm always really fearful of this, even though my area seems relatively safe. I usually don't carry around anything too valuable.

Thanks, I'm feeling a little humilliated and angry since I know that I could've had a chance at beating the sh*t out of them if only the risk of getting a gun pulled on me wasn't there. I'm also feeling a little paranoid of going out and it makes me wish I had a gun with me (not that I could use it anyway thanks to how laws work here)

 

The only valuable things I was carrying were my phone and I guess my watch too since the black guy was telling his fat friend to leave but the fat f*ck told me to give him my watch too. You're doing good on not carrying anything too valuable but try to keep at least a bit of money just in case something happens (I've heard how some of these low lifes stab or shoot people just because they had nothing worth stealing) oh and always try to walk in places full of people, I forgot that yesterday and well... it happened, guess that's why I also feel a bit stupid.

At least you got out unharmed, yet that other guy is still fat. He likely ate your watch. And the black guy likely had a ''bad youth'' like the fat girl from that movie 'Precious'

That is common practice around here.  Always keep that folded up 10 or 20 in your front pocket.   Times have changed a bit in my neighborhood, but back in the 80s and 90s things were different.  (Short version) Late 90's my wife had a gun held to her head while standing on the corner one morning waiting for the trolley.  She's a tough chick and basically reacted like he was annoying her and said "I got nothing.  What do you want?  My f*cking token?". He left.

 

As someone who doesnt like the concept of a gun for personal protection; if my wife had a gun that morning, someone would have died(maybe her even).

 

@Darkshadows the thing that really sucks is having lost more trust in your fellow humans.  Sorry man...

Likely her, at times like this the person who's going to rob you already has the gun ready, if he sees as much as a glimpse of a gun on his victim he'll pop and run.

 

Around here its mostly knives, not just with robberies its just a lot of cowards carrying them because fighting like a man is scary to them yet they feel the need to get in your face for no reason other then to fight or try to rob you , always in packs of two, never ever do you face these sad folks alone.

I carry some scars because of this sadly. ''In most cases around here its minorities trying to live up to their stereotype'' giving other minorities with good intentions a bad name. My neighbour who's part of that said ''minority group'' is also getting quite fed up with the way things are going in this area. Its starting to form more and more groups of these low-life idiots. He gets the free pass though, not so much for oriental/black/white people and they epecially hate jews and are beyond disrespectful towards young woman who aren't completely covered up. Things go from bad to worse around here. What pisses me off most though is if after you get assaulted and the attacker who bite the dust tries to press charges against you for voilently assaulting them, these guys have some nerves and know society goes easy on them. Witnesses are a bliss though.

My day is about to come to a nice end with eating some really nice chicken. It smells great, can't wait to eat it.

I've been living in pure hell since May 21st.   The craziest hell I've ever experienced in my entire adult career.   I kid you not.  And I've been through a lot.  f*cked up.  And just when I thought sh*t couldn't get any more f*cked up...it did a few hours ago.

 

I'm almost certain that my life is going to be drastically changed when the dust settles.  Chances are I'll liquidate my existence in this city and end up somewhere else with an easy job to help pay property taxes before I can collect in on my pension and sh*t and retire full blown.

 

That f*cking crazy of a day.  Another day of into the office at 6am...home at 6pm...remote work till now for now.

Well I am now the proud owner of a handicap dog. It's rear leg can't be fixed further by surgery. But he's one year old and limping around happy. He still wants and tries to use the leg which causes him to gets wounds on it '' it's paw is in reverse curl position like a J shape instead of a flat foot like L shape. He has feet cushions up, where it should be down obviously. Currently modifying some shoes for him so they work as a prosthetic. Should avoid wounds on his foot joint and get his paw slowly into correct position as I'll keep adapting the sole in order to get his foot in a more usable angle.

Dear diary,

Yesterday my ID documents and credit card expired at the same day and due procrastination i had to make a detor around the city because bank and police offices are placed on the opposite sides of a city. Atleast i enjoyed waiting 50 minutes for a bus and having my phone discharged.

Its Saturday.  Aside from the current craziness at my job and the fact that there was scheduled emergency work today...some other sh*t blew up.  Its Saturday...at one point I ended up on an emergency conference call with some pretty important people.  High drama.

 

The craziness is such to the point of saturation for me...and I've been through a lot.

 

After the dust of the day settled I just set in my beautiful back yard.  No phone, no surface, no tablet...for hours.  There was an amazing breeze.  The day was beyond beautiful weather wise...the blue sky and clouds...dream like.

 

I was transported back in time.  It was amazing.  I'm not kidding.

 

 

 

 

 

Reality will return but for now... ...

My hometown had its annual, historical holiday today. Luckily, I didn't get woken up by the sound of bagpipes or marching bands at 5 AM. I woke up and thought it was quieter than other years. ( I live in the centre of town.)

 

Also... It's been a full month of quiet at home. I've heard literally nothing since the noisy neighbour had an angry meltdown. Technically, you can't leave a house empty here for a month. I'm hoping that karma's finally caught up with him and said bye Felicia.

Had to use a public toilet on the way home becuase I was that desperate. Usually I'd do anything to avoid it, but when you've gotta' go you got to go.

 

Of course there was a guy making loud grunting noises in the stall for some weird ass reason. I don't even want to know.

Had a crap dinner for some reason. My meat and potato pasty was almost tasteless and had bits of bone in it. My trifle tasted fine until I got to the sponge base. Tasted like someone had mixed vinegar or tuna juice into it. Tasted really sour.

What I am experiencing at my job is the craziest thing I've ever had to go through in my entire adult career...and I've been at this since '95.  As far as the big picture of the current situation; right now is when it is the craziest for me directly.  And my part only really represents the middle of the 'big picture' activities.  I won't be out of the water for at least another month.
