I missed my bus, and ran for it, and had to pretend I wasn't running for it when it set off

Today was like one of those days that would be totally skipped in a 80's montage.

Are Wednesdays ever good?

Traditionally a bad day for me...and today was no different.  Actually today set a few new records.

Weird part of the day.  Out of nowhere I inherited a Mazada Miata.  No sh*t.

Going to use/abuse/restore the car or sell it?

I just used my DIY skills (zero) to put together a shelf with door compartment. Considering I hit myself with a hammer putting together a 4-shelf unit yesterday (thinking it was easy assemble until I opened the box and saw real screws and stuff) it's turned out alright. Took me forever to do though.

I've been riding big boy motorcycles almost my whole life.  I dont think I fit the look of a Miata driver.  Unless my wife decides that she wants it I'm gonna sell it.

I did that the other day, but with Pizza. I was so hungry. 😂

Worse, it was a chunk of chicken with thick satay sauce so I couldn't exactly get it off in a second. Even water tastes like burned sore tongue. Didn't know it was a taste, it is.

Spent the day watching nostalgic cartoons from my childhood on Youtube. Pretty productive day if I say so myself.

Wholesome fun with some ole' buddies playing like 30 rounds of Blackjack. I wasn't betting anything this time, though.

Well the family meeting was pretty fun today 'annoying kids from sister aside' until my mother by accident slit her wrist and I had to drive her to the hospital so they could stitch her.

Pretty fun but not very productive. I basically just watched Youtube videos all day and had snacks, but hey, if you're having fun. Who cares, right? Life is meant to be enjoyed. You have to keep yourself entertained when you live alone. 😂

I have a setup so I can watch YouTube or movies while running on my treadmill. It's nice for winter or rainy days.

One of these days I'll enjoy a Sunday. Although, today wasn't that day.

At least it's a Bank Holiday in the UK tomorrow.

Bank Holiday Monday.

So I can stay indoors and do nothing all day, instead of working. Sounds good to me.

Memorial Day here in the states. Day off of work, chillin' at home, sippin' coffee, mixin' my EP.

Today went good besides this one bad moment.

The good was mostly cleaning up files from my computer. It was tedious, but it was worth it in the end.

The bad was my game controller almost caught on fire. That never happened up until today. Guess I’m sticking to keyboards for now.

Satay sauce is like Napalm. Any sauce with a lot of peanuts and fat is deadly that way. Manys a time I've been stirring a pot of the stuff and a dollop has leapt out of the pan and onto my hand. Hurts like hell even if you get it off right away.

Just a little bit unsettling feeling when I was hoping for a phone call for a job interview, and it's a three time spam call from Quebec asking for information or some sort. 😴

On a more productive side of things; went to work removing my car's rear hitch. It was a huge pain in the ass, bolts and structure being rusted all the way through...but I got it done with some WD-40, center punch, impact gun, hammer and breaker bar.

Really good day actually. Went outside a ton today, got some nice exercise in and was walking for about 2-3 hours, and I had some really nice Lunch.

Just feels good to get out of the house tbh.

My day was hot but awesome. Spent my day at my cousin's wedding, pregamed there & went & saw one of my all-time favorite bands incubus & now i'm super drunk. One of the best nights of my life.

Not great so far. I've woke up in a terrible mood. You know when you just really don't want to deal with people's sh*t today, that's how I feel. Hopefully nobody says anything to me today, as I could snap. I really need to chill out and think over things, get a better night's sleep.

Virtual-Antics

It's been hella quiet today. The last 18 days have been REALLY quiet since my noisy neighbour had some kind of a meltdown. (Having no money, a dog, and the balls to do something.) Anyway... I think someone put him on time out. There was an intervention that night, because since then, I haven't heard barking dogs, loud music or other stupid sh*t that he's done over the last two years and nine months.

Honestly, it's a strange feeling to not deal with that BS nearly every day. I feel a bit more productive and have more control over my time. And... I actually enjoy it. Although, I reckon it won't last for much longer. The longest he can be quiet is roughly 4-6 weeks.

Your noisy neighbour is obviously a vulnerable individual and it is your civic duty to put up with his anti-social behaviour in a community spirit of tolerance for diversity. After all, he is only displaying the rich diversity of human behaviour. You should seriously consider organising a communiy festival in celebration of noisy neighbours, encouraging everyone to turn up their stereos, keep noisy barking dogs, and generally be a nuisance to the community. Only then will you be displaying a proper respect for Diversity and Vulnerability.
